We talked about the political economy of prisons, prison closures in New York State, and why there are so many prisons in certain parts of Upstate New York. We also re-broadcast an interview from the Prison Voices Project. The interview featured Khalil Cumberbatch, who spent time in prison in New York and is a national advocate for prison reform.
