Well I am humbled by my fellow volunteers that kept the station up and running during Jonas the winter storm from hell. Great job guys! Personally I followed the sage advice of Buffalo Mayor Jimmy Griffin who in 1985 told his city that in the event of a blizzard do nothing - "relax, stay inside, and grab a six-pack". I think if he had lived in Richmond in 2016 he would have added - and keep it tuned to WRIR your official emergency broadcast outlet.
