Physicist & author of Churchills Bomb, Graham Farmelo joins us to discuss the British origins of atomic weapons with Winston Churchill writing about the nuclear age in the 1930s also German Otto Frisch and Dane Rudolf Peierls producing the first ever design in 1940 for an atom bomb design at Nuffield, University of Birmingham. Later in the war the technology was transferred to the US under the August 1943 Quebec Agreement. After the war in the late 1940s and early 1950s Churchill got together with Sir John Cockroft, Christopher Hinton and William Penney to develop the British atom bomb. They used Tube Alloys as a cover and were based at Fort Halstead near Sevenoaks, Kent under the North Downs. But where did Churchill and Tube Alloys get the £200m (£7bn in 2016 money) to build the bomb from because it didnt come from Parliament? The Manhattan Project was also built from a mystery black budget in the United States. http://www.blueplaqueplaces.co.uk/robert-otto-frisch-and-rudolf-e-peierls-blue-plaque-in-birmingham-7343 http://www.grahamfarmelo.com/churchills-bomb/ Lawrence Morton is a photographer from mid-Wales whose friend who lives in the Alps Craig Jenkins introduced him to serious questions about the 9/11 attacks that helped things fall into place. Lawrence had three thoughts on the day of 9/11: skyscrapers cant fall like this; how did hijackers fly four airliners around in protected US airspace; how did they know it was Osama Bin Laden so quickly? Family disputes over the 9/11 attacks might even cause marriage or family break-up. Lawrence also gives his view of the Truth Movement and asks what the idea that the government might be lying to us through mainstream media propaganda means for us all. Lawrence paints a picture of Russia and Putin versus ultimately satanic forces in the West. http://www.fotolawrence.com https://www.twitter.com/LaurenceMorton Lawrence recommends: James Corbett https://www.corbettreport.com/ Syrian Girl: https://www.twitter.com/Partisangirl https://www.facebook.com/partisangirl
