Author and historian Alison Weir recently came to Natick, MA, and spoke about her experiences visiting Israel and Palestine. Needless to say, she was shocked by the cruelty Israelis were visiting upon the native Palestinians. These experiences changed her life dramatically.

One result is the organization she founded and now directs, If Americans Knew (ifamericansknew.org). Another was her recent book, Against Our Better Judgment: How the U.S. was used to create Israel. Her talk includes a summary of the main points in this stunning book.

The book brings together meticulously sourced evidence to outline the largely unknown history of Zionist manipulation of U.S. public policy, including the recently-revealed activities of an illicit secret society involving two Supreme Court justices, Louis Brandeis and his protege, Felix Frankfurter. Two of the important bottom lines of this secret activity include (1) US joining with Britain in World War I, against the sound advice of most top advisors, and (2) US support of the creation of an Israeli state in Palestine, against the specific warnings of our most respected leaders. Predictably, both of these moves have caused monstrous suffering, deaths, and intensification of government corruption.

"Prodigiously documented... Alison Weir must be highly commended for throwing such a brilliantly hard light on the relationship between the United States and Israel," said Ambassador Andrew Killgore.

Another measure of her enormous integrity is savage dislike by the Zionist Lobby, which calls her "antisemitic." Ironically, it was the Zionists who urged host countries to reject Jewish refugees in order to make sure they get channeled to Israel, and also made a deal with Hitler for this purpose.
This Week In Palestine (a weekly part of Truth and Justice Radio) is an award-winning three-quarter-hour segment of news from Palestine and discussion of issues relevant to the Palestinians' struggle for freedom from Israel's brutal military occupation and colonization of their homeland. It speaks from the point of view of Palestinians and those who care about them. It's a regular part of Truth and Justice Radio, aired Sundays 6-10am ET on WZBC 90.3FM, Newton, MA, streaming and archived for two weeks at wzbc.org; TJR's website, truthandjusticeradio.org, has a link to This Week In Palestine archives back thru 1-6-2008; earlier editions are obtainable from radio4all.net or by navigating through our playlists. (At this important time, TJR has been airing a lot of Palestine coverage IN ADDITION to that provided by This Week In Palestine.) We hope you'll write to us at tjr@bluebottle.com if you rebroadcast our work, or have questions or comments.
