In November of 2015 the Boston University chapter of students for Justice in Palestine held a conference featuring Middle East scholar, author and activist, Mouin Rabbani, and author and professor, Norman Finkelstein who have just authored the above-mentioned book together. Last week we heard Mouin Rabbani’s presentation where he focused on Palestine’s moving from the suffocation of the Oslo peace process to a strategy of more reliance on the United Nations and the international community in search of support for ending the Israeli occupation. He stressed that any resolution of the conflict will depend on Palestine getting their political house in order, and recognition, secured in International Law, to their right of return to their land and property. (That episode is available via the T.W.I.P. archives link on truthandjusticeradio.org.) This week we hear Norman Finkelstein’s presentation.

Finkelstein's prior books include “METHOD AND MADNESS: The hidden story of Israel’s assaults on Gaza”; “Old Wine, Broken Bottle”; “Knowing Too Much”; “What Gandhi Says”; “This Time We Went Too Far”; "The Holocaust Industry: Reflections on the Exploitation of Jewish Suffering"; "Image and Reality of the Israel-Palestine Conflict"; and "Beyond Chutzpah: On the Misuse of Anti-Semitism and the Abuse of History."

Much to the consternation of the Zionist elites, Finkelstein is Jewish. He continues to withstand harsh attacks for his forthright position.

You may be surprised to hear today that he supports the so-called Two-State Solution.
