He did it, he actually did it, Donald Trump the Apprentice host is now Commander n' Chief, who'd a thunk it - oh wait Mark Blythe thunk it.
The 80s came back with a roar this past week as Donald Trump, the iconic Yuppie representative became the 45th president of there United States. His name came up in Davos, his movement or the one heâs coopted has caused shivers throughout Europe and now the man with the spray tan is in the White house â I may never get use to admitting that. The context of todays show ranges, as always, from an early discussion about Socialism and Capitalism (hide your patriotism please ï) to a conversation about resetting your genetics (no really, it just kind of happened) to the Yuppie and Chief who replaced Obama. Okay for all of you none 80s babies or those born in the 80s with little memory of the 80s, Yuppie is slang for Young Urban Professionals, a group which the not too young Donald Trump was lionized by, this is why he was a house hold name in the 90s and beyond, he made his name as the hippest spender of the 80s who was known for doing big things in big ways. Now his bigness has brought him to the White House, God isnât taking any phone calls right now so we might be in some trouble. Enjoy!
