An important, non-hysterical presentation on the opioid epidemic. Extremely informative. This month's show is a recording from a public presentation called "Youth and Opioids" put on by Avenues to Wellness in Willits this month. A young recovering opioid addict, a doctor, a tribal health consultant, and a counselor for the Youth Project discuss how people begin using opioids, the difficulty of recovery, where people can get help, the danger of fatal overdose, and the resources we have here in Mendocino County.
