Dr David Miller’s extraordinary Twitter thread proving UK Jewish PRIVILEGE, rather than persecution. Tony Greenstein: Defend David Miller Against Both the Zionists & their Apologists on the Left – There are Many Criticisms That Can Be Made of Miller but Anti-Semitism Isn’t One Of Them

Jews earn more than other groups in UK – Jews as a whole – on every metric examined above – are not discriminated against. Jews are the most privileged minority group. They’re over-represented in all areas of British public life. With that privilege comes the power to make economic, political and cultural decisions. There’s lots of data on the status of Jews in society (with distinctions within and between groups). Let’s start with Norman Finkelstein: ‘British Jews are in the aggregate disproportionately wealthy, educated, and professionally successful.’ Next, is Finkelstein’s colleague/comrade Jamie Stern-Weiner. Here he is writing for Jewish Voice for Labour in 2019: ‘antisemitic attitudes … in British society do not appear to translate into socioeconomic discrimination.’

Finkelstein and Stern-Weiner are both Jewish, although their analysis would be correct even if they weren’t. It’s no more ‘antisemitic’ for Jewish people to report facts about prejudice and privilege than it is for me or anyone else. Racism isn’t about subjective feelings or one’s ‘standpoint’ conferred by social location. It’s about the material reality of violence and discrimination which is susceptible to empirical verification or falsification. Here’s some data on the alleged anti-Jewish epidemic: But the best evidence is in social science studies. A 2010 report from the National Equality Panel provided data on hourly wages broken down by gender and religion: A 2012 study for the Policy Commission on the Distribution of Wealth provided a ranking of ‘median net wealth’ of households: One of the most comprehensive studies was carried out in 2008 for the EHRC, the UK ‘equalities’ watchdog. It found that: ‘[T]he pay advantage of Jewish men can be observed at all levels of the pay distribution’.

Wilko owners took £77 million in bonuses, deliberately collapsed chain over prediction retail sector would die and economy crash? UK chain of 400 large stores closing – will small hardware shops benefit? China property collapse. Other chains and businesses suffering. Depression coming? German recession. Wilko owners took millions in dividends before collapse – Wilko paid out £77m to owners before collapse Multi-million pound dividends continued even as company headed for rocks Wilko paid out a total of £77 million to the owners and former shareholders of the stricken retail chain in the decade before its collapse. The Mail on Sunday can reveal. The chain, which fell into administration last week putting 12,000 jobs at risk, was controlled by descendants of the founder, James Kemsey Wilkinson. The biggest payout was a £63 million jackpot in 2015 when – after 85 years of running the business together – one side of the Wilkinson family sold their shares to the other. Karin Swann, a granddaughter of founder James Kemsey Wilkinson, quit the board leaving her cousin Lisa Wilkinson as chairman. Swann’s husband Peter was until recently the owner of Scunthorpe United, now in the sixth tier of the football league after a series of relegations. Analysis of Wilko’s accounts shows that multi-million pound dividends continued even as the company headed for the rocks. These included a £3 million dividend last year, which was paid despite Wilko racking up losses of £39 million. A total of £3.2 million was doled out in 2018 when Wilko slid to a £65 million loss. Wilko’s failure has left the retirement fund with a multi-million pound shortfall and pensioners may end up with a reduced annual income for life. The scheme is likely to be bailed out by the Pension Protection Fund (PPF), the industry lifeboat. However, workers who have not yet retired could see their pensions reduced.

European Mafia Cheap Labour, People Trafficking Map: Mass migration. 800 boat migrants in one day record – Daily Express. Brexit affecting UK business. Immigration stats. The European countries with most asylum seekers MAPPED as UK comes in sixth There are some 35 million refugees globally – only a tiny fraction of whom are hosted by the UK. Robert Jenrick says ‘we’ll do whatever is required’ to sort asylum system Net immigration to the UK hit an all-time record high of 606,000 in 2022, revised data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show. Some 46,000 crossed the Channel illegally in small boats – almost 25 times more than three years earlier. With an annual daily record of 755 migrants making the journey set earlier this month, tackling the issue remains one of the most pressing of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s five key priorities. The vast majority of these arrivals – 92 percent on average over the past five years – claim asylum: an application for refugee status that would, under international law, allow them to remain in the country. In total, the Home Office received 74,751 asylum applications last year. These numbers are substantial and increasing, but from the perspective of our European neighbours, they are not exceptionally large. According to the European Council, 962,160 non-EU citizens applied for asylum in the bloc in 2022. This is up 52 percent on 2021’s figure, but far below the 1,322,850 at the peak of the migrant crisis in 2015. A quarter of all applications were made in Germany alone – their 243,835 total higher than anywhere else in the EU, and over three times more than the UK. France came second with 156,455, followed by Spain (117,945), Austria (108,755) and Italy (84,290).

Egyptian arrested in London for Mediterranean boat migrants – UK Authorities Arrest Alleged Mastermind Behind Major Mediterranean Migrant Smuggling Operations – The United Kingdom’s National Crime Agency (NCA) has announced the arrest of an Egyptian man believed to be a key player in orchestrating the illegal smuggling of thousands of migrants across the Mediterranean Sea from North Africa to Italy. The 40-year-old suspect, who was arrested in London, is thought to have liaised with human smuggling networks in North Africa to arrange boats for migrants, and then kept in touch with his criminal associates throughout the crossing. Organizing Death-Defying Crossings from the UK – The NCA believes that the suspect had been operating his extensive smuggling network from the UK. He is thought to have played a major role in the dangerous crossings that have taken place in the past year. “We suspect this man has been running his operation from the UK, and masterminding the smuggling of thousands of migrants,” stated Darren Barr, Senior Investigating Officer at the NCA. The agency further highlighted the grave risks involved in these crossings, describing the vessels used by organized crime groups as death traps. They reaffirmed their commitment to working closely with international partners in sharing intelligence and taking necessary actions to prevent such crossings and apprehend those involved in human smuggling both domestically and abroad. Notable Crossings and Joint International Efforts – The arrest follows a series of major crossings, which the NCA cited as part of the broader investigation that was conducted in cooperation with the Italian Guardia di Finanza. One of the notable crossings took place in October of last year, where Italian authorities rescued over 640 migrants who had attempted to make the crossing in a wooden boat from Libya. In another incident in December, 265 migrants were rescued by the Italian coastguard after they were found adrift in a 20-meter fishing boat in the Mediterranean, having left Libya. Furthermore, in April, the coastguard undertook two search and rescue operations following distress calls, finding more than 600 migrants on each boat. This operation highlights the importance of international collaboration in tackling human smuggling networks which often operate across borders.

Tucker Carlson interviews Democrat presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (full audio last week) he has made a documentary ‘Midnight at the Border’ about immigration at US/Mexican border – and was surprised at what he found. Full Interview: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Talks To Tucker Carlson About Secret Service, Neocons, Assassinations & More Democratic candidate for president Robert F. Kennedy sat down with Tucker Carlson for an 80-minute interview posted on Twitter. Kennedy said the Biden administration refuses to give him Secret Service protection and even received a letter from DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas personally denying his request. RFK Jr. noted that John Bolton still has Secret Service detail as well as Hunter Biden. RFK Jr. named a slew of presidential candidates that received Secret Service protection over a year before the election. He said he is being treated as an “outlier” and believes he is being denied because DNC is “playing hardball,” and said the least malevolent interpretation is that they know that he needs a security service and feel like they can “bleed him” out of the race. RFK Jr. said Ukraine war proponents are giving a “comic book” depiction of the situation: a bad guy, Putin, and that the United States, the good guys, need to stop him. He also gave a short history lesson on Zbigniew Brzezinski and neocons believing that America should be stationed all over the world.

West taking resources and destroying countries where migrants come from. Yemen tour guide on the destruction of her country. Immigrants shot at border of Saudi Arabia. ‘Thousands’ of migrants have been ‘shot to pieces’ and killed by Saudi border guards this year as they tried to enter the kingdom, report claims Many of the migrants reportedly had their legs severed and their fingers shot off Migrants, many of them travelling from Ethiopia, were attacked at close range Thousands of migrants have been slaughtered by Saudi border guards this year after they opened fire on them ‘like rain’ as they tried to cross through Yemen into the Gulf kingdom, a major report has found. The Human Rights Watch report, released Monday, said some migrants, many of them from Ethiopia, were attacked at close range while others were fired on by mortar projectiles. Many of the migrants reportedly had their legs severed and fingers shot off as their bodies were strewn across the trail. The allegations, described as ‘unfounded’ by a Saudi government source, point to a significant escalation of abuses along the perilous ‘Eastern Route’ from the Horn of Africa to Saudi Arabia, where hundreds of thousands of Ethiopians live and work. The kingdom has previously rejected allegations of systemic killings. ‘Saudi officials are killing hundreds of migrants and asylum seekers in this remote border area out of view of the rest of the world,’ HRW researcher Nadia Hardman said in a statement. Ms Hardman continued: ‘Spending billions buying up professional golf, football clubs, and major entertainment events to improve the Saudi image should not deflect attention from these horrendous crimes.’

BRICS conference in South Africa – six more countries to join. BRICS to more than double with admission of six new countries Major expansion as economic bloc that includes Russia and China attempts to provide counterweight to the US and western allies The Brics group of big emerging economies has announced the admission of six new members, in an attempt to reshape the global world order and provide a counterweight to the US and its allies. From the beginning of next year, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Argentina, the UAE and Ethiopia will join the current five members – Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa – it was announced at a summit in Johannesburg on Thursday. China’s president, Xi Jinping, described the expansion as “historic”. He had been the leading proponent of the admission of new members, presenting an enlarged Brics as a way for the global south to have a stronger voice in world affairs. It is unclear, however, how the expansion would significantly enhance the group’s clout on the global stage. That would depend on how far it will be able to act in unison, analysts said, and the group of new members has made it even more disparate, a mix of powerful autocracies with middle-income and developing democracies.

Anti-white racist London mayor Sadiq Khan says white family are ‘not real Londoners’. Sadiq Khan plunged into race row after his official website publishes picture of white family and says they don’t ‘represent real Londoners’ Labour London Mayor faces calls to apologise after message appeared online The photograph featured in a guide on how to portray the ‘brand’ of the Mayor Mayor’s spokesperson said photo caption was added by staff member ‘in error’ Sadiq Khan was plunged into a bitter row last night after his official website published a photograph of a young white family with the words: ‘Doesn’t represent real Londoners’. The Labour London Mayor faced calls to apologise after the extraordinary message appeared in an official guide on how to portray the ‘brand’ of the Mayor and the Greater London Authority. This was despite the fact that the guide opened with the words: ‘A City For All Londoners’ and a promise to appeal to ‘everyone no matter, their age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, disability or family make up’. Last night, Mr Khan was forced to disown the caption for the picture, which shows a couple and their two children walking along the Thames, with Parliament in the background. The Mayor’s spokesperson said: ‘The photo caption was added by a staff member in error, and doesn’t reflect the view of the Mayor or the Greater London Authority.’

ULEZ expansion in London. London’s revolt against the Ulez scam is set to shatter politics as we know it When I wrote in April that Sadiq Khan could be ousted because of his persecution of motorists, my suggestion was widely panned as delusional. Didn’t I realise that nobody owns a car in our capital city, that London is a Labour rotten borough and that the Tories are finished? My argument doesn’t look so silly today. The mayor’s nasty, vindictive Ulez cash grab has triggered a wave of French-style civil disobedience, radicalised an outer suburbia that the snooty inner London elite had long forgotten even existed, lost Labour a parliamentary seat it could otherwise have won, and exposed the exorbitant cost to our pocketbooks and freedom of the rush to net zero. It turns out that there are, in fact, almost 9 million Londoners, and the vast majority don’t live in Islington or Hackney, don’t commute by bike and don’t work in a Left-wing think tank. Some 69 per cent of households in outer London have access to or own a car or van, and even in inner London some 42 per cent do so. It was thus a terrible mistake for Khan, an incompetent mayor obsessed with virtue-signalling, to declare all-out war on motorists – via Ulez, Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs), road-narrowing and the excessive expansion of 20mph zones – while mismanaging London Underground, presiding over a decline in buses, acting as a demagogue over Covid, squandering money on propaganda, jacking up taxes and failing to grip the calamity that is the Met Police. The good news is that there is now a clear alternative to Khan’s arrogance. The Tories have selected their mayoral candidate, and despite the party establishment’s best efforts at imposing a technocratic, Remainer type, ended up choosing Susan Hall, a true-blue activist who is committed to scrapping the Ulez extension and is a standard bearer for modern suburban values. She proposes a genuine alternative vision for London, a rupture with the dominant Left-wing urbanism, and would be the first mayor that hails from outer, rather than inner, London. She campaigned with no money and no infrastructure, making her own way to endless hustings, unlike her well-funded rivals, and yet triumphed with the grassroots. For a while, in an act of unfathomable stupidity laced with snobbery and ageism, the central party appeared ambivalent about her victory, but it has now rowed in behind her….

Kirilov report to UN Security Council accusing US of creating Covid as a bioweapon. Russia claims US preparing for ‘new pandemic’ by searching for virus mutations US military-biological activity poses ‘security threat to many states of the world,’ says head of radiation, chemical, biological protection troops Russia on Wednesday claimed the US has begun preparations for a “new pandemic” by searching for virus mutations through the newly-established Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy (OPPR). “Despite the fact that the stated goals of US programs are to monitor disease incidence and provide assistance to developing countries … we see the Pentagon conducting uncontrolled dual-use research in circumvention of international obligations,” Igor Kirillov, the head of Russia’s radiation, chemical, biological protection troops, told a briefing in Moscow. Arguing that US military projects are primarily aimed at studying “potential agents of biological weapons,” Kirillov claimed US military-biological activity poses “a security threat to many nations around the world.” “There is a clear trend: pathogens that fall within the Pentagon’s area of interest, such as COVID-19, avian influenza, African swine fever, subsequently become pandemic, and American pharmaceutical companies become the beneficiaries,” Kirillov said. He added: “As in 2019, the US has begun preparing for a new pandemic by searching for virus mutations. We do not rule out that the US will use of so-called defensive technologies for offensive purposes, as well as for global governance by creating crisis situations of a biological nature.” Kirilov claimed the office is “directly involved” in collecting dangerous pathogens in various regions of the world and the testing of unregistered drugs based on documents over the course of the Ukraine war.

Illegal China-linked Biolab found in California
‘Disturbing’ California biolab shrouded in mystery as China links emerge – Inside America’s secretive biolabs – Inside America’s secretive biolabs Vials of bioterror bacteria have gone missing. Lab mice infected with deadly viruses have escaped, and wild rodents have been found making nests with research waste. Cattle infected in a university’s vaccine experiments were repeatedly sent to slaughter and their meat sold for human consumption. Gear meant to protect lab workers from lethal viruses such as Ebola and bird flu has failed, repeatedly. A USA TODAY Network investigation reveals that hundreds of lab mistakes, safety violations and near-miss incidents have occurred in biological laboratories coast to coast in recent years, putting scientists, their colleagues and sometimes even the public at risk. Oversight of biological research labs is fragmented, often secretive and largely self-policing, the investigation found. And even when research facilities commit the most egregious safety or security breaches as more than 100 labs have federal regulators keep their names secret. Of particular concern are mishaps occurring at institutions working with the world’s most dangerous pathogens in biosafety level 3 and 4 labs the two highest levels of containment that have proliferated since the 9/11 terror attacks in 2001. Yet there is no publicly available list of these labs, and the scope of their research and safety records are largely unknown to most state health departments charged with responding to disease outbreaks. Even the federal government doesn’t know where they all are, the Government Accountability Office has warned for years. A team of reporters who work for the USA TODAY Network of Gannett newspapers and TV stations identified more than 200 of these high-containment lab facilities in all 50 states and the District of Columbia operated by government agencies, universities and private companies. They’re scattered across the country from the heart of New York City to a valley in Montana; from an area near Seattle’s Space Needle to just a few blocks from Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza restaurant and shopping district. High-profile lab accidents last year with anthrax, Ebola and bird flu at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the discovery of forgotten vials of deadly smallpox virus at the National Institutes of Health raised widespread concerns about lab safety and security nationwide and whether current oversight is adequate to protect workers and the public. Wednesday the Department of Defense disclosed one of its labs in Utah mistakenly sent samples of live anthrax instead of killed specimens – to labs across the USA plus a military base in South Korea where 22 people are now being treated with antibiotics because of their potential exposure to the bioterror pathogen. As many as 18 labs in nine states received the samples, the CDC said Thursday. “What the CDC incidents showed us … is that the very best labs are not perfectly safe,” says Marc Lipsitch, a Harvard University professor of epidemiology. “If it can happen there, it certainly can happen anywhere.” Some people find little reassurance that nobody was sickened in the CDC accidents or in the historically low numbers of serious infections among lab workers generally, or that infections spreading into communities surrounding labs have been rarer still.

John Pilger on how propaganda hides the real state of war – and journalists are the accomplices. Fresh hopes for Assange? How Propaganda Hides the True Face of War | Short Documentary – John Pilger’s film is a powerful and timely investigation into the media’s role in the war. The War You Don’t See traces the history of ’embedded’ and independent reporting from the carnage of World War I to the destruction of Hiroshima, and from the invasion of Vietnam to the war in Afghanistan. As weapons and propaganda are ever more sophisticated, the very nature of war has developed into an ‘electronic battlefield’. But who is the real enemy today?

Pink Floyd singer/songwriter Roger Waters hit by fake accusations of antisemitism – apartheid system in Israel – Mum told him to read to sort problems out. Websites and media taken down. It’s so sad and embarrassing for us as citizens that Roger has to make this video. That means we still let those guys that he mentions reach the circles of power. I heard The Wall for the first time at my 14s, at 1980, and I understood, at that age, that it wasn’t about anti-Semitism or Nazi apology. My eternal respects and admiration for the great Roger, I have been following him since 1977 when I heard The Dark Side of the Moon at my 11s. I learned english thanks his records. You will always have allies here in Chile, dear Roger.

ITV News report – King Charles aid, Michael Fawcett, let off cash for honours. No further action over cash-for-honours allegations against King’s charity | ITV News Detectives investigating cash-for-honours allegations involving the King’s charity The Prince’s Foundation are to take no further action. The Metropolitan Police said the decision followed advice from prosecutors and consideration of the information received to date. It launched an investigation in February last year following a series of newspaper articles accusing former close confidant to the King, Michael Fawcett, of promising to help a Saudi billionaire donor achieve British citizenship and a knighthood. Mr Fawcett resigned as chief executive of The Prince’s Foundation in the wake of the allegations.

Policeman Gives Royals One-Eye Occultist Salute As They Enter Balmoral Castle – Daily reminder if you get in any way swept up with the ‘pomp & ceremony’ of House Windsor, you are giving your consent to be ruled over by a Luciferian system of control. Are Windsor’s Order Of The Garter (Tony Blair Carmilla etc) and Germany’s Teutonic Knights secret societies at the heart of the Satanic conspiracy for world domination? Secret societies have flourished throughout history and count Founding Fathers and royals among their ranks. Members (most often men) have been tapped to join The Knights Templar, the Freemasons, the Bavarian Illuminati, Skull and Bones and Bilderberg. The allure of secret societies is part mystery, part legend. Conspiracy theories have surrounded them for centuries, with rumors of groups like the Illuminati being linked to everything from the French Revolution to the assassination of JFK. But it’s important to separate fact from fiction.

1862: Prince Albert’s Cairn – By far, the most majestic cairn built at Balmoral was to honour the memory, life and legacy of Prince Albert. He died on December 14 1861 aged just 42 years old from typhoid fever, devastated, Queen Victoria spent the rest of her life shrouded in grief. And the following year she commissioned a grand pyramid of dressed granite as a token of her everlasting love. She wrote in her diary that it was to be built at 35ft tall on top of Craig an Lurachain so “it could be seen all down the valley”. On August 29 1862 Queen Victoria laid the first slab. One of the inscriptions chosen by Victoria for the cairn stirred some controversy among the Free Church community as it was chosen from her prayer book and not the Bible. It read: “He, being made perfect in a short time, fulfilled a long time. For his soul pleased the Lord; therefore hasted He to take him away from among the wicked.” Dr Candlish described the inscription from the Wisdom of Solomon as an “offence to the Bible which Scotland loves”. But other leapt to the broken-hearted queen’s defence calling Candlish “over-zealous” and “fiery-tempered”. The queen found much sympathy locally, and her personal inscription was a poignant tribute to the man she adored on the estate she loved. It read: “To the beloved memory of Albert the great and good Prince Consort. Erected by his broken hearted widow Victoria R. 21st August 1862.”

‘Lighthouse Bill’ Shier from Black Nore lighthouse trust in Portishead on the history of Portbury and Portishead – including Vikings and Romans. Æthelred the Unready, King of the English: 1,000 years of bad press. …“The English were under severe Viking attack, and this was one way of making arrangements more pleasing in the sight of God. The diploma was issued at a royal assembly, and was witnessed by a number of bishops, ealdormen, abbots, and thegns – in other words by the great and good of the land.” Coinage offers another window into Aethelred’s reign and management of money is likely to have been on the agenda at royal assemblies. In a collaboration with the late Mark Blackburn, Keeper of Coins and Medals at the Fitzwilliam Museum, Keynes took a keen interest in the coinage of Æthelred’s reign. “Coinage was struck at as many as 80 minting places across England. It was produced in huge quantities for export as part of the tribute money paid to Viking armies and the army tax paid to a standing mercenary force,” he says. “Variations in coin designs over time suggest that Æthelred and those working with him developed and maintained a system of staggering complexity. To control the economy, the authorities recalled coins of one type from circulation and exchanged them for coins of a new type. The designs tell their own stories. The earliest types feature the hand of God issuing from a cloud, perhaps to signify divine approval. Later the emphasis shifted to the king’s portrait and he is shown initially bare-headed and later wearing a helmet.” The rarest of the coins struck in Æthelred’s time is a short-lived Agnus Dei (Lamb of God) type. Worldwide, just 24 survive, one of which is in the collection of the Fitzwilliam Museum and displayed in the Rothschild Gallery. What makes this coin so remarkable is the absence of king’s portrait: the obverse features the Lamb of God and the reverse a dove, symbol of the Holy Spirit. “The design represents a desperate appeal for peace, in perilous times,” says Keynes. In portraying Æthelred’s reign as a time of turmoil, historians have drawn on a sermon given by one of the king’s most powerful advisors. Archbishop Wulfstan’s message to the English people is full of gloom: “For it is clear and manifest in us all that we have previously transgressed more than we have amended, and therefore much is assailing this people. Things have not gone well now for a long time at home or abroad, but there have been devastation and famine, burning and bloodshed in every district again and again.” The forces ranged against Æthelred were impressive and implacable. In 994 a Viking fleet of more than 90 ships came up the Thames to London. In 1009 the Vikings came again. Almost ten centuries later, in the 1920s, a group of battle axes and spearheads, dating from around 1000, was found in the river close to old London Bridge. Vivid reminders of the raiders who sailed up the estuary to strike at the heart of England, they are on display at the Museum of London. The eight battle axes, with their fearsome curving edges, also pose a question: how could the king and his councillors overcome a threat of such a kind? In September 1666 the great fire of London destroyed St Paul’s cathedral, taking Æthelred’s tomb with it. Today Æthelred is remembered in the cathedral coffee shop where a stone commemorates all the tombs known to be lost. “It’s quite touching to see Æthelred’s name close to the place where he was buried in 1016 and where he lay for the next 650 years,” says Keynes. “It’s highly unlikely that he will never shake off the damage done to him by his soubriquet – but it’s well worth continuing to challenge the accepted versions of the history of a fascinating period.” Coins from Æthelred’s reign are displayed at the Fitzwilliam Museum in the Rothschild Gallery. Æthelred’s charter for Bishop Ealdred of Cornwall (994) is available for consultation at Exeter Cathedral on request.

Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin presumed dead after Russia plane crash – Patricia Opulenza poem. Prigozhin and others from Wagner Group killed in plane crash. Likely link to Wagner PMC role in Niger, Mali Burkina Faso etc. coups. Alex Krainer on plane crash, and who he thinks is responsible. Theories and anomalies in plane crash. Russian mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin was on the passenger list of a jet which crashed in Russia killing all 10 people on board, Russia’s civil aviation authority says. Social media linked to the Wagner mercenary group say his private plane was shot down by Russian air defences. Prigozhin died “as a result of actions of traitors to Russia”, the Grey Zone Telegram channel posted. Prigozhin led an aborted mutiny against Russia’s armed forces in June. However, some experts in Russia and abroad suggest the revolt was staged, and Prigozhin abandoned his “justice march” on Moscow after direct orders from President Vladimir Putin. Wednesday’s crash in the Tver region, north-west of the capital Moscow, comes on the same day that senior Russian general Sergei Surovikin was reportedly sacked as air force chief. Gen Surovikin was known to have good relations with Prigozhin and had not been seen in public since the mutiny. Prigozhin’s aircraft – an Embraer-135 (EBM-135BJ) – was flying from Moscow to St Petersburg on Wednesday with seven passengers and three crew, Russia’s Rosaviatsia aviation authority said. Senior Wagner commander Dmitry Utkin – who founded the group in 2014 – was also on the passenger list, it said. The plane is reported to have come down near the village of Kuzhenkino, about half-way between Moscow and St Petersburg. One report said the body of Prigozhin, 62, had been found and identified – this has not been officially confirmed. All 10 bodies have been recovered, Russia’s state-run news agency Interfax said.

Putin Comments on Prigozhin Plane Crash – The Russian leader said Prigozhin ‘made serious mistakes in his life’ but also ‘achieved results’ Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday called Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin “a man of complicated destiny” a day after a plane believed to be carrying the mercenary leader crashed in Russia’s Tver Oblast, killing everyone onboard. “I have known Prigozhin for a long time, since the 1990s. He made some serious mistakes in life, but he also achieved the necessary results for himself but also for the greater good when I asked him. He was a talented man, a talented businessman,” Putin said. Discussing Prigozhin’s role in Ukraine, Putin said the Wagner mercenary force “made a significant contribution to the fight against nazism in Ukraine.”

ECOWAS ‘annoyed’ but may be powerless over Niger coup – Niger Coup threats against Niger’s new leaders by US backed ECOWAS may not be serious – Freeman – African countries fed up with colonialism. Niger coup: Ecowas deadline sparks anxiety in northern Nigeria Zainab Saidu is worried about what might happen to her family in Niger if there is military action Niger’s military junta has just hours to restore ousted President Mohamed Bazoum to power or face the possibility of military action from the NATO-friendly economic regional bloc Ecowas. Last Sunday, West African leaders gave the coup leaders a week to comply with its demands or it would “take all measures… [which] may include the use of force”. But in Niger’s neighbour, Nigeria – where the bulk of the troops are likely to come from – voices against the involvement of the military are growing louder. The two countries also have close ethnic and historical ties. On Saturday, Nigeria’s senate urged the government to look at “political and diplomatic options”. And in the northern Nigerian city of Sokoto, bordering Niger, which is home to the army’s 8 Division, the anxiety is increasing. It sits on a major junction on the road leading to Niger and is likely to be a mustering point for troops before any military action. The serenity of Sokoto’s residential neighbourhoods belies the heightened tension in the city and the wider north-western state. One aspect feeding this is that – according to locals – one in every five residents in Sokoto is from Niger or has connections with the country. Sokoto city’s sprawling suburb of Sabon-Gari Girafshi is predominantly inhabited by people from Niger. They fear that military intervention by Ecowas could greatly affect their family members and even jeopardise their own security here in Nigeria.

Zirinov blogger – Wagner and Russia worked together to complete Niger coup. Wagner Group and Russian agencies behind uprising, says ex-official, as Prigozhin appears in Africa – Coup leaders requested support from Wagner, and Yevgeny Prigozhin said his men were ready to provide it – Published the day before Prigozhin was assassinated – August 22, 2023 – Wagner and the Russian state conspired to facilitate the military coup in Niger, a former Russian official has claimed, after mercenary chief Yevgeny Prigozhin released a video message from an undisclosed African country – his first since leading a failed uprising in June. “The recent coup in Niger was carried out in close cooperation of Russian special services and Private Military Company (PMC) consultants,” claimed Russian military blogger Mikhail Zvinchuk, a former press officer for Russia’s defence ministry who uses the alias “Rybar”. This co-operation between Russia and Wagner meant it was “extremely reckless to talk about any severing of ties” following the mutiny, the blogger claimed. A military junta took power in Niger last month, overthrowing the government of President Mohamed Bazoum and keeping him under house arrest at the president’s residence in capital city Niamey. The coup was condemned by regional and international powers, which have imposed sanctions and threatened military action to oust the new regime led by General Abdourahamane Tiani.

Prigozhin’s final video before his assassination was filmed in the Sahel region, which straddles the borders of Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger. Prigozhin’s last video: Wagner boss vows to ‘make Russia even greater’ Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin posted his first and last video address since leading a short-lived mutiny in late June. Prigozhin was on board a plane which crashed on Wednesday (August 23) evening north of Moscow with no survivors/Russia says it has confirmed Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin died in plane crash August 27th 2023, Russia’s investigative committee has said it has confirmed that Yevgeny Prigozhin, founder of the mercenary group Wagner, was killed in a plane crash. Committee spokeswoman Svetlana Petrenko said in a statement that forensic testing identified all 10 bodies recovered at the site of Wednesday’s crash and the findings “conform to the manifest” of the plane. The statement did not offer any details as to what might have caused the crash.

Tucker Carlson interviews Donald Trump – China gaining power. Donald Tump’s Key Moments From Tucker Carlson Interview ….Getting Indicted is ‘Easier’ for Trump Because He Is ‘So High in the Polls’ Trump said that the four felony criminal indictments that he has faced so far this year have been “easier” due to his polling numbers, claiming that voters can see that the prosecutions are “fraud.” “I think it’s a lot easier because I’m so high in the polls,” said Trump. “It means the people get it. The people see that it’s a fraud.” Trump also claimed, incorrectly, that Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis indicted him for attempting to “criticize an election.” In reality, he is being accused of crimes related to illegally attempting to overturn the 2020 election outcome. “Fani Willis, in Atlanta, she’s getting killed,” said Trump. “Basically, she’s saying Trump doesn’t have the right to criticize an election.” Trump Touts ‘Love and Unity’ on January 6 The former president claimed that he witnessed “love and unity” from supporters during his January 6, 2021, speech on the Ellipse in Washington, D.C., just before many in the crowd violently stormed the U.S. Capitol in an ill-fated attempt to overturn Trump’s 2020 election loss. “I think that the biggest crowd I’ve ever spoken before was on January 6,” Trump said. “People in that crowd said it was the most beautiful day they’ve ever experienced. There was love in that group. There was love and unity. I have never seen such spirit and such passion. And such love.”

EXCLUSIVE interview with Andrey Kochetov, official for an industrial Union in Ukrainian/Russian region of Donbass, on what it’s been like since the coup in Maidan, Nazis in Ukraine, and the killing of Zakashenko in 2017. Matthias Rath on Nazis and the EU. Why Is Ukraine’s Counteroffensive Destined To Fail? The much-anticipated Ukrainian counteroffensive was predicted to break through Russian echelon defenses swiftly, however, it turned into a stalemate. The operation was strategically planned and executed with misguided optimism, as Ukraine’s defense strategists underestimated the strength of the adversary. It was launched under the wishful thinking of the Ukrainian government assuming that Russian soldiers would desert their positions and run away from their trenches in the first waves of the counterattack. However, the opposite happened, and Russians are holding their positions, occasionally launching counterattacks, and not allowing Ukraine’s land forces to breach their defenses. Already two months have passed since the launch of the offensive and Ukraine’s military has yet to make significant gains. With the current situation, the highly anticipated counteroffensive is destined to fail. This prompts inquiry into why the counteroffensive has so far failed and will continue to produce unfavorable results for Ukraine and its allies. There are three main rationales for the failure of the counteroffensive. Firstly, the decision to train Ukraine’s soldiers to replicate the combined-arms tactics on the battlefield backfired. Secondly, Ukraine lacked the key component, air supremacy over the battlefield. Thirdly, the operation began too little too late.
