The US House Ways and Means Committee subpoenaed BreakThrough News demanding internal communications, financial records, and more. Their only crime has been speaking out about Palestine, ICE’s terror in the streets, and Washington’s crimes around the world. Nora Barrows-Friedman speaks with journalist Rania Khalek, host of Dispatches and BT Live.

A new lawsuit claims that the Trump administration is threatening people in the United States with up to 20 years in prison for conduct that can include sharing evidence of Israeli crimes with sanctioned International Criminal Court officials or working with Palestinian human rights groups targeted by US restrictions. The Electronic Intifada’s Ali Abunimah sits down with Omar Shakir from Democracy for the Arab World Now and Tariq Ra’ouf from the Taxpayer Alliance Against Genocide to find out more about this case.
Produced by Pierre Loiselle, Nora Barrows-Friedman and Tamara Nassar. Music by Greg Wilson.
