Voters in California’s 7th Congressional District have a unique race. It features two Democrats – incumbent 10-term establishment Representative Doris Matsui and progressive Sacramento City Councilmember Mai Vang. Not surprisingly, even though the race has two Democrats, the mudslinging is hot and heavy.
