These three students were moved to create their own monologues as part of the staged performance of Vagina Monologues at UCSC this spring.
Listen as these three women speak out against military violence and perform their dramatic reading. They focus on the so-called "Comfort" women who were forced to sexually service the Japanese during WWII. These moving and original writings stand alone as spoken word. Kim, Le and Jill incorporated these pieces into Eve Ensler's Vagina Monologues performed at University of Santa Cruz spring 2006!
