Committee for the Citizens Hearing on the Legality of U.S. Actions in Iraq or the Case of Lt. Ehren Watada. Recorded by Paul Lovelady
Daniel Ellsberg Military analyst who released the Pentagon Papers in the Vietnam War. Ellsberg is a very relaxed speaker, and was entertaining. I think he was a bit of a cheerleader for the anti-war movement more than anything. He talked about his former life in government, and how it relates to our relationship with the war today. He also talks about the Mexican War, one of our first wars of agression. He reminded me of Howard Zinns perspective on the United States in history, and like Zinn puts forth the prospect that if we dont know history, we are doomed to repeat it.
