Part 2: Kill Bernadotte: 1948 - UN Mediator and Humanist Murdered by Israeli Mafia

Sept. 6, 2015, 8:05 p.m.
Fred Jerome, journalist and science writer, covered the 1960s civil rights movement, university journalism instructor, inventor of Media Resource Service connecting journalists with scientists. Continuation of Part 1, Fred Jerome at http://www.radio4all.net/index.php/program/81680. Jerome's article, "Kill Bernadotte," is fascinating --can't stop listening nor stop reading the article once started. Go to http://ameu.org/PDF-Archives/vol48_issue3_2015.aspx Fred Jerome talks about the living evidence of Jewish individuals who were saved from Nazi extermination by Count Bernadotte's White Bus Rescue Mission, which was a spin-off of his directorate at the Swedish Red Cross. Based on these credentials, Bernadotte was selected by the first Secretary General of the UN, Norweigian Trygve Lie, to go to Palestine to mediate a peace agreement, something that the Israeli far-right Zionist leaders/terrorists made impossible then as well as now. The Israeli Zionist were not happy with the November 29, 1947, partition of land that gave them with 1/3 of the population 55% of another country's land, while giving Palestinian only 45% of the land in a more complicated division plan. The Israeli made it clear that they wanted it ALL. Phil Taylor pointed out and Jerome confirmed: Begin said that he was not happy with the 55%, that the petition was illegal, that Jerusalem would forever be their capital, and that the land would be for Israel forever. Jerome makes it clear that Israel could not win and could not kick out the British without the support of the US in Washington. Sound familiar?

Canada in Africa --300 Years of "Aid" and Exploitation

Sept. 6, 2015, 8 p.m.
Yves Engler discusses his just published book, Canada in Africa -- 300 Years of Aid and Exploitation. Engler's book, based on extensive research, is an eyeopener that blows the cover off of Canada's reputation as being a benevolent country not involved in imperialist corruption nor violence. The reality is Canada has supported violence and corruption and destruction of African and other third-world countries right along side its imperialist sister to the south. Engler notes that the whole history of Canada's suppression of third-world countries revolutions or fights for justice goes back to Canada's role in supporting the transatlantic slave trade. Canada's tactic is based on plantation economies, which included calculating just how much food the slaves needed to keep them in the fields 16 hours a day (as Phil Taylor notes).

Rev. Susie's Katrina Show, ch.8-"Brokedick Mountain"!

Sept. 6, 2015, 2:37 p.m.
Chapter 8 begins with George's half-brother Jeb Robertson Bush still agonizing about accepting the poison crown of the presidency as he is dropped by helicopter into the Hurricane Katrina zone all ready to hunt down and slay the rogue George. Meanwhile, George and Michael Brown, continuing their rolling lovers' spat, still languish in the brutal clutches of the kidnapper Jack. As George regains consciousness from yet another savage beating, he witnesses Brown's ultimate betrayal. Realizing that his FEMA paramour's loyalties have shifted from his shitty boyfriend George to the tenderly brutal Jack, the runaway president eludes his dozing postcoital kidnapper and strikes out on his own -- unaware that right now at that moment, Brother Jeb is also roaming the bayous... with murder on his mind. Tonight's episode features chunks of Little Gruntpack, some Leon Russell, some Peter, Paul & Mary (!) for the folkies, and some unknown someone's terrific cover of Hank Williams' "Settin' the Woods on Fire"! Enjoy.

G.E. Trees Action Camp in Asheville + Announcements & Metal

Sept. 6, 2015, 12:31 p.m.
This week William speaks with Ruddy Turnstone of the Global Justice Ecology Project and BJ McManama of the Indigenous Environmental Network about the issue of Genetically Engineered trees, their ecological and social impacts, and of the Action Camp to take place just outside of Asheville NC on September 24th-27th. The Action Camp has a registration deadline very soon so if you wish to participate in this amazing event, go to http://nogetrees.org to register! You can email our guest, Ruddy Turnstone, at ruddy@globaljusticeecologyproject.org for particulars and for info on how to subscribe to GJEP's newsletter. For more on the Indigenous Environmental Network, you can visit ienearth.org. But first, a few announcements: From http://FreeEddien.wordpress.com We have just learned from Eddien's Public Defender that he in fact can be bailed out despite violating his probation. His bail is $50K so we need $5K to bond him out. Eddien is currently doing okay in jail, but strongly wants to be bailed out and desires that all money be used for that first and later for his legal defense. Eddien was initially charged with 2nd degree felony assault and battery by a mob as well as 3rd misdemeanor assault and battery. He also has the additional charge of Breach of Peace of a High and Aggravated Nature for allegedly breaking the windows of a KKK member's pick up truck. You can donate to Eddien's defense/bail fund at FreeEddien.wordpress.com. Benefits of any kind are welcome--if you want to get in touch with us about any details shoot us an email at http://free.eddien@gmail.com. Background: Eddien was one of six arrested at an anti-KKK demonstration on July 18th in Columbia, SC. On that day around 2,000 people showed up to confront the Klan, whose rally was cut short out of concerns for "public safety." In a historic show of opposition, a rowdy and diverse crowd of gangs, black nationalists, anarchists, and various anti-racists humiliated the Klan and their Nazi counterparts and literally chased them out of town. A short zine about the demonstration can be found on http://ruinsofcapital.noblogs.org/. ------------- In other news, Robert "Skinny" Mahone is being tortured by staff at Southern Ohio Correctional Facility (Home to the Lucasville Uprising). Skinny has been abused by staff before, this is a continuation of that abuse. In the past Skinny has had his genitals pepper sprayed without reason, now he is being forced to wear the same dirty clothes for weeks while he is attempting to heal from a broken jaw. What we are asking everyone who reads this to do is very simple. 1. Buy a .50 cent stamp 2. Trace your hand onto a piece of paper 3. Mail it to Robert 'Skinny' Mahone at: Robert Mahone 255-225 SOCF P.O. Box 45699 Lucasville, OH 45699 We are choosing this course of action to let Skinny know that he is not alone, and even more importantly to let the staff at SOCF know that he is not alone and that we will know if something happens to him. Prisons are able to do what they want to prisoners largely based on the fact that they are isolated and no one pays attention. But there are lots of us, and we pay very close attention. " More information available at: https://www.facebook.com/events/722696497862815/ --------------- We also have some words of wisdom from anarchist prisoner Sean Swain on banks: what are they anyway, really? how many of them are there? are they edible, yes or no? Stay tuned, as always, for answers. We close out the show with some anarchist and anarchist leaning metal from the last couple of years. --------------- On next weeks episode of The Final Straw, Bursts'll be speaking with organizers involved in the Connecting European Struggles Conference in Malmö, Sweden from September 18-20th, 2015. The theme for the conference is "Feminism In The Crisis" and will be bringing together autonomous, anti-capitalist struggles from around Europe to discuss austerity, gender, immigration, care work, health care and much more. More info in many languages can be found at http://connectingeuropeanstruggles.tumblr.com or on their facebook page.

#715 - The Deep Roots of Dragon's Teeth

Sept. 5, 2015, 11:23 p.m.
This week we emphasize the structural roots of the current spate of False Flag terrorism - the unaccountable power of the supranational Deep State. Public 'checks and balances' to stop 'bad apples' will never tackle the problem of a barrel that is itself rotten; laws passed by states seek to hide, not to expose the hidden and therefore unaccountable nexus of self-interest that is the deep state. In our first hour, a debunking of "whistleblower protection". In our second, we continue reading Brian Bogart's, Sins of Statecraft: The War on Terror Exposed. A 20 minute time out to hear from J. Michael Springmann, formerly head of the visa issuing section in the US consulate in Jeddah, who was unceremoniously dismissed after attempting to blow the whistle on the irregular visa issuing practices.

#392 -- Consumed, Part 1 (R)

Sept. 5, 2015, 5:48 p.m.

An interesting view of our addiction to consumer products and our estrangement from nature. Has some very good insights from the fields of psychology, sociology, and economic history. Introduction by K.D.

Reviews of American Sniper

Sept. 5, 2015, 1:19 p.m.
Since American Sniper is about a real person in a recent war, I find it to be an interesting commentary on Americans. For me, American Sniper shows how an American can seamlessly morph from a cowboy to a government trained mass murderer. Mass murder occurs on the average every two weeks in the U.S. according to the FBI statistics, which makes it rather ordinary despite being a heinous crime. Mass murder as defined by the FBI is single incident where four or more people are killed. When ordinary people are sent to other countries by the government to kill, movies can make them into heroes. In the movie Chris Kyle was cool and efficient mass murderer for the U.S. government. I consider any movie that applauds mass murder to be an evil movie. Despite the apparent coolness and efficiency of the Chris Kyles in the U.S. military, the U.S. lost an unnecessary war in Iraq. Most Americans would like to forget the disaster and the loses that was the Iraq war and ignore the current disaster that is the war on the Islamic State. Many Americans would rather remember the movie American Sniper. They would rather think about our brave heroes fighting the other side which are portrayed as cruel savages. Iraq has provided Americans a stage to demonstrate their superiority at least to themselves. Many Americans don't want the facts, they want the legends and myths! American Sniper’s Celebration of Psychopathy Abby Martin interviews independent journalist, Rania Khalek, about the film ‘American Sniper’ and why it’s such a controversial choice to receive a Best Picture Oscar nomination. Podcast source: YouTube: American Sniper’s Patriot Porn & Celebration of Psychopathy. Interview with Rania Khalek Myth Of Redemptive Violence Keith Giles offers his viewpoint after watching the film, "American Sniper" and the slow death of the myth of redemptive violence. Keith represents a viewpoint that we seldom hear. Keith describes himself as teacher, author, copywriter, activist, and servant of Jesus living in Orange County, California. Since 2006, he and his family have been part of a house church that gives away 100% of all offerings to the poor in their community. Podcast source: [Subversive Radio Podcast] Review: American Sniper American Sniper has warped Americans Adam Kokesh does man on the street interviews. For the record, this was not a selective group, or even in a particularly conservative or pro-military area. The people were the first seven people on the 3rd St Promenade in Santa Monica, California who answered yes to, "Did you see American Sniper? Do you think Chris Kyle is a hero? Would you like to do a quick interview for my YouTube channel?" Adam was seeking a good age and gender variety. Adam Kokesh is an American libertarian talk show host, activist, and author of FREEDOM! He is also a decorated veteran of the War in Iraq. Podcast source: YouTube: American Sniper has warped Americans' fragile little minds Adam Kokesh On Incarceration And Modern War Adam Kokesh joins Gary Franchi to discuss what life is like as a soldier in modern war, his activism in favor of gun rights, including his civil disobedience in Washington that led to his arrest and how he was received by his new audience behind bars. We get Adam's take on the latest allegations that Edward Snowden was assisted by the Russian intelligence agency Adam Kokesh joined the group Iraq Veterans Against the War in 2007. That same year, he was arrested for protesting the war outside the Hart Senate office building. A decorated veteran of the War in Iraq, he was arrested for loading a shotgun in front of the White House. He pleaded guilty to firearms charges, and was sentenced to two years of probation. New Orleans After The Flood with Gary Rivlin

Sept. 4, 2015, 5:27 p.m.
New Orleans After The Flood: The Anatomy of African-American Displacement with Gary Rivlin, author Katrina After the Flood, journalist Now, there is a commemorative marker at the site where a floodwall protecting the Lower Ninth Ward collapsed, unleashing a wall of water 10 years ago during Hurricane Katrina. The flood wiped out the African-American neighborhood and killed scores of its residents and now what has been left in its wake is little more than a commemorative marker at the site where the floodwall protecting this neighborhood collapsed. Ten years after Hurricane Katrina made landfall in southeast Louisiana Gary Rivlin retraces the storm s damage, the city of New Orleans s efforts to rebuild itself, and the storm s lasting affects not just on the city s geography and infrastructure "but on the psychic, racial, and social fabric of that city, highlighting the mass dislocation of the African American residents of the Lower Ninth Ward and why the neighborhood still hasn t been thrown a life preserver.
