A UN investigator is likely the latest victim of Kagame's assassination program. America hides his crimes.

July 20, 2015, 2:50 p.m.
Chris Black describes the character and the current abduction in Nairobi, Kenya, of his former investigator at the ICTR, Jean Chrysostome Ntirugiribambe, as an intelligent, self-effacing, gentle man who worked diligently to secure full acquittals at the ICTR for General Augustin Ndiniliyimana and other Rwandan defendants. Ntirugirbambe has spent 20 years on the run just because he tried to save people's lives and was willing to talk about what the Rwandan apartheid regime really did. Black refers to Judi Rever's report on digitaljournal.com which gives some evidence Ntirugirbambe was snatched by Rwandan President Kagame's thugs, as many other Rwandan nationals working for the defense at the ICTR have been abducted, jailed or murdered.

Lessons from the Greek Struggle

July 20, 2015, 11:12 a.m.
The betrayal of the Greek working class by Syriza in its surrender to the demands of the EU and IMF once again demonstrates the futility of any attempt to reform the capitalist system. A system that places profit ahead of the needs of human beings can only be called inhuman and something that is fundamentally inhuman can never be humanized, regardless of how much time and effort is invested. As many Greeks and many people around the world are realizing, capitalism can only be overthrown. The only answer is revolution.

Anarchist prisoner Eric King; NAABC Conference; Trouncing KKK in Columbia, SC

July 19, 2015, 1:12 p.m.
from http://www.ashevillefm.org/the-final-straw Archives at thefinalstrawradio.noblogs.org This week we spoke with a supporter of Eric King. Eric is a 28 year old vegan anarchist in Kansas City, Missouri, who's facing possibly life plus 20 years in federal prison for allegedly attempting to molotov a Senator's office. No one was inside the building or in danger of direct injury. He has been held in Solitary confinement at CCA Leavenworth in Kansas for 6 months as a July 14th due to his potential life sentence. Eric's trial has been pushed back to October 26th, 2015. More on Eric's case can be found at http://supportericking.wordpress.com . We also speak about the upcoming North American Anarchist Black Cross conference which is currently in it's fundraising phase. The NAABC conference brings together advocates of political prisoners, prison abolitionists and other troublemakers once a year in order to better share skills and network. More on fundraising for this event can be found at http://www.youcaring.com/north-american-political-prisoners-366217 We also read a firsthand account of anti-KKK actions that occurred Saturday, July 18th in Columbia, South Carolina that we received and wanted to share. You can read the script here: http://www.ashevillefm.org/the-final-straw/07/2015/anarchist-prisoner-eric-king-naabc-conference-trouncing-kkk-in-columbia-sc#firsthand Interesting video and pictures from this event can be found at It's Going Down, a new anarchist news site focusing mostly on North American struggles. Now, an update from the Incarcerated Workers Organizing Committee about the complaints of forced medicalization and medication of concerned prisoners at SECC outside of Charleston, Missouri. Sadly, time constraints made it so we couldn't announce this in the episode, but here it is anyway: "Update 7-15-15 ~ FINALLY!! A month and a half after receiving the first letter of complaint about psychological and medical torture, we received a letter from one of the people involved saying that things are getting better and they are working their way off the forced medication now. Many, many thanks to everyone who has participated in this calling campaign. This would not be getting better without all of your help. Please continue to stay in touch with us by liking the IWOC fakebook page here https://www.facebook.com/incarceratedworkers " Also from IWOC: "You may be familiar with Ricky Kidd's case of innocence and his request to have DNA from the crime scene tested is being considered in Jackson County Courts. To find out about his case you can go to http://freerickykidd.com In the meantime, Ricky is fighting another battle with the MO Department of Corrections that could lead to losing a leg or even his death. Ricky is a diabetic and has a soft tissue sore that has gotten into the bone of his leg and created a condition that is potentially life threatening. He was diagnosed with Osteomyelitis about four months ago, a condition that if it had been properly treated at the time would have healed by now. The proper treatment is a 6 week course of very strong antibiotics administered via an IV. The DOC has been giving Ricky an Oral antibiotic every other week and now the infection has moved from the tissue to the bone and is putting him at risk of losing his leg. The medical personnel have told him his situation is dire and must be properly addressed immediately as there is not only the risk of amputation but a risk of death if this infection migrated to his bloodstream. Please call the Missouri Department of Corrections at 573-751-2389 and request to speak to Adrian Hardy in the Medical Division. You must reference Ricky Kidd # 528343, he is housed at Crossroads Correctional Center. They probably will not transfer you and will tell you that Harriett Clark is the contact person for this case. Register your concern and then call again the next day. We cannot allow this innocent man to be maimed or killed by the DOC by neglect or malfeasance. Please forward this to your friends, associates and State Representatives, as well as post to FB where you can. We need a flood of calls to help get Ricky proper treatment. Find out more about Osteomyelitis at this link - Osteomyelitis: Symptoms, Causes, and Treatment at http://www.webmd.com/pain-management/osteomyeltis-treatment-diagnosis-symptoms" Playlist: http://www.ashevillefm.org/node/13059

July 19, 2015, 6:19 a.m.
This week we pull out SOMETHING WILD! The wildly inventive and entertaining comic nightmare from former Roger Corman prodigy Jonathan Demme. This screwball odyssey is a ride to remember. Jeff Daniels plays clean-cut New York bond trader Charlie Driggs, who accepts a ride home from a strange but attractive lower-class woman named Lulu (Melanie Griffith). The sexy Louise Brooks lookalike doesn’t take him home, but shanghais him for a bizarre road trip to Virginia that includes kinky bondage sex, destruction of property, and robbery. Things get stranger when Lulu tells Charlie that her real name is Audrey and takes him home to meet her mother, asking him to pose as her husband. The charade continues until her high-school reunion, where the road trip (and the entire film) takes a sharp U-turn into psycho-thriller territory. Audrey’s dangerously psychotic ex-con husband, Ray Sinclair (Ray Liotta), shows up. What had been a liberating fling for Charlie turns into a bloody and vicious battle for survival… We’ll tell ya what we got out of it, plus our Top 3 “Chance Encounters” in movies.

Puerto Rico s Debt Crisis: Who s To Blame And What Can Be Done?

July 18, 2015, 9:38 a.m.
Puerto Rico s Debt Crisis: Who s To Blame And What Can Be Done? with . David Galarza, co-founder of SiemPReste, an organization committed to working in the diaspora around the political/civil/economic crisis of Puerto Rico . Michael Kink, Exec. Dir., Strong Economy for All Coalition and Member Hedge Clippers Puerto Rico, an unincorporated territory of the United States with 3.5 million U.S. citizen residents who do not have the right to vote for President or representation in Congress-is making headlines these days because of its inability to pay a $72 billion debt owed to holders of its devalued bonds. While there have been comparisons between Greece and Puerto Rico the reality is that they are totally distinct situations. Greece has sovereignty, Puerto Rico does not. Puerto Rico is unable to declare bankruptcy, cannot devalue its currency and cannot go to international financial institutions under the present colonial system. In fact one of the solutions offered in the United States to solve the chaotic economic crisis is to place the entire island in receivership. In other words to go back to an even more rigid colonial system so that the bonds market can protect their investment. Building Bridges discusses how Washington helped create Puerto Rico s staggering debt crisis and its effect on millions of what are effectively second-class U.S. citizens and what is to be done!
