We also discussed how poor planning of outfitting and locating buildings lead to poor energy efficiency and how California's system of decoupling the electricity providers incentivizes them to promote energy efficiency, which is not the case in all states.

Tonight, I deal with something near and dear and terrifying to my heart--IDENTITY. It's bad enough that I actually am faceblind, but I haven't been the Flooze for weeks now--I turned over my identity as "Reverend Susie the Floozie" to Doktor LoBotomy when I was depressed, and now I can't do bupkis without the cushioning my acquired personality affords me. As the "real" me, I found that this is the hardest show I've ever done--and, by far, the lamest. I just don't have what it takes when I'm stripped of my chosen identity, and it was horrible to realize that I am really nothing more than the artifice I've created to interact with the outside world. On my own, I'm the meat equivalent of Gertrude Stein's interpretation of Oakland...there's no THERE there. There is sonic padding, but it hardly helps the situation. Sounds are provided by Joy Division, Screeching Weasel, the Uncalled Four, Oingo Boingo, Sumo Cyco, the Pajama Slave Dancers, Darby Crash, Lou Reed, X-Ray Spex, Primus, Landscape, Nick Cave, and--what the fucking fuck, WHITNEY HOUSTON--?!!! Oh, Dobbs, NO... Make it STOP.

The NATO3 consist of Brent Betterly, Jared Chase, and Brian Church who were arrested in a house raid orchestrated by Chicago PD and with the use of two undercover infiltrators known as Mo and Gloves, during May of 2012 as Chicago prepared for the protests against the NATO Summit. The 3 are being charged with 11 felony counts including terrorism. With the addition of Sebastian Senakiewicz (Sabi) and Mark Neiweem (Miggs) who were picked up seperately, they are collectively known as the NATO5. The conversation with support people introduces the case to listeners, talks about the ongoing use of conspiracy and infiltration in the United States of movements of dissent and the creation of the threats by the U.S. government that it simultaneously claims to be protecting the population from as it further expands the prison culture that is America. Obama Budget Attack On Social Security Hangs Seniors Out To Dry with Bob Borosage, Co-Director, Campaign for America's Future The median income of people over age 65 is less than $20,000 a year. Nearly 70 percent of the elderly rely on Social Security benefits for more than half of their income and nearly 40 percent rely on Social Security for more than 90 percent of their income. Meanwhile, the Pres. pushes the myth that Social Security and Medicare face economic collapse and that the budget deficit imperils the fiscal solvency of the nation has proposed a cut in the annual cost of living adjustment that will be a substantial hit to a population ill-prepared to see a cut in its income. Government programs like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are critical to keeping seniors out of financial crisis. Now, the President has proposed slowing the growth of Social Security benefits and lowering the rate of increase in Social Security payments, also veterans' benefits and federal pensions.
