Republican freshmen demands Government Healthcare - hypocrisy as a family value!

Nov. 16, 2010, 5:40 p.m.
Sometimes an event doesn’t have to have occurred too far in the past to be hidden, even from law makers who ought to know better. He campaigned vigorously on an anti-healthcare platform decrying the recent healthcare initiative passed by the Democrats as ‘socialists’ and vowing to work for its repeal. Despite the shallowness of his platform, he managed to win. And one of the first things he wanted to know was why he had to wait all of 28 days before his Government Healthcare plan would take effect.

Nov. 15, 2010, 4:27 p.m.

Kurt Hoelting, the author of The Circumference of Home, spent a year adventuring around his home without a car – something that all of us could do but most of us don’t. By contrast, the achievements of Roz Savage, the first woman to row across the Pacific Ocean on her own, are unfathomable to most of us. But Kurt Hoelting and Roz Savage share a common goal: spreading a message of environmental stewardship. Host Alex Wise sits down with them both on this week’s Sea Change Radio.
