On 30th October 2010 families and friends marched from Trafalger Square to Downing Street to protest against custody deaths and abuses. This was the 12th annual protest organised by the United Families & Friends Campaign (UFFC). The march, which took up one side of the road, was not policed at all. At Downing Street the police refused to take the open letter to the Prime Minister, despite pleading from the protestors. Tonight's offering is the first show I did on ceedee almost a decade ago--but at the time, I didn't put any music behind it, so this was a perfect opportunity to tweak the sound properly and lay down some musical ambience in the background to counterpoint the insanity. And INSANITY it IS! Framed with cuts by our beloved dead friend Lux Interior and the Cramps, this show has chunks of the purest brain- impacted xtian demonism bulldada. Weaving in and out of the mix to delight and stupefy is an expose of Satanism by the exposed bullshit artist "ex-Satanist" Mike Warnke (he's the subliterate moron who talks about the "summer SOLTICE" and "VALID the Impaler"). Renowned loon Garner Ted Armstrong maintains that demons LIKE to be exorcized. There's something by the Tinklers about "Bats" and I think the other song about how cats may not be vampires but they do have fangs could be theirs, too--I didn't keep any notes for this one. I may have even slipped in a cut from the Deviants' LP "Ptoof!" in there somewhere, along with some EXORCIST-themed comedy from a '70s era Atlanta strip bar that had a "going down" joke before it was a generally known term. The guy leaves a lot of room after the joke for people to get clued in, as you can tell from the increasing volume of laughter and screams from the drunk audience. But the main attraction is the call-in show Bob Larson did on Satanism where a stoner teen calls his show up to say he's possessed. It's an obvious setup--Larson tells the demon to go ahead and kill the boy, which that pussy wouldn't do if it was the real thing--but what follows is pure fucking gutbusting laff-yer-ass-off MAGIC. In fact, I had to re-record a huge chunk of the show because I forgot and left the mike on, and it caught me cackling, guffawing, and gasping with laughter over the stream-of-unconsciousness bullshit the kid was coming up with. And the crazy thing is that I knew what was coming up, but it still cracked my ass up. The legcramp on the waterbed especially fucking slew me. It's a good one. Enjoy.
