June 7, 2010, 1:29 p.m.
Israel, like many dictatorships before them, always demonise victims and representatives of those people every time they are accused of war crimes. Unfortunately, our news media tries to make it appear as if the issue of Israel occupation of Palestine as a very compex issue; but when you think of it, the issue becomes very simple.
In this episode i talk about a couple of things that came to my mind as a result of the current news. Technically what i say can be expanded to many other governments, but i do use Israel as the example.

Jeff Halper: Israelis In Palestine Resist House Demolitions
June 6, 2010, 7:46 a.m.
Freedom Flotilla's efforts to break Israelâs blockade of Gaza has resulted in worldwide condemnation of the blockade and the suffering it has caused. But what of the wider apartheid policies of the state of Israel towards the Palestinian people ? Halper offers one of the most insightful analyses of the occupation youâll hear. Israel can not maintain its exclusive Jewish character without imposing on the countryâs Palestinian
population policies of ethnic cleansing, occupation and discrimination, expressed most graphically in its ongoing demolition of thousands of Palestinian homes, both inside Israel and in the Occupied Territories.

Before he left for Yurp, that sweet ol' Tater slipped me a couple cassette tapes -- one of them had Those Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers on the label, with the title "Those Fabulous Sixties" -- and what an astounding collection of earworms and editing it is! There is even a website that tells about what this amazing artifact is:
http://www.runawayexpress.com/sixties.html
This thing is a choice pool of melded sounds, music, and effects. It's a statement about an amazing time, and about youth, politics, war, music and love. He built on top of the thousands of razor-cut edits and made it even denser and more complex. This is some rich earworm bounty, all right!
