Sonic Café, You Donât Believe, from Ammonia Avenue thatâs the Alan Parsons Project. So hey welcome back, broadcasting from planet earth, Iâm your host Scott Clark and this is episode 284. Conan that late night TV talker featuring Conan OâBrien, itsâ run is over, but for eleven years, it was part of your basic cable package. During that time one of the shows frequent and favorite recurring guests was Bill Burr. Burr has become hugely popular; heâs a cynic and a contrarian who has never paid any heed to political correctness. According to the New York Times, Burr is one of the funniest, and most distinctive comedic voices in the country. This time the Sonic Café features the miscellaneous ramblings of comedian Bill Burr. Weâll bring you a number of his stream of consciousness rants captured from Conan as well as on stage. All woven into a music mix pulled from 53 years, weâll spin Stone Temple Pilots, Somu Yamashta, 1973 dinosaur rock from Steppenwolf, and also 1971 music from the Faces, plus Sirus, Andy Summers and Robert Fripp, Billie Eilish and more, all just ahead as we bring you the Miscellaneous Ramblings of Bill Burr from that little radio café on the Pacific coast, weâre the Sonic Café.

She talks about the millions - yes, millions of wild pigs roaming the countryside, and the multitude of problems they bring: eating like pigs and breeding like rabbits, these wild swine trample fragile habitats and imperil other animals, ecosystems, and even humans.

The Buddhist monastery had called for Awakened Action and invited Women Leaders to Speak to Race, Poverty, Climate, and the Covid Pandemic.
Joanna Macy is an eco-philosopher and a scholar of Buddhism, general systems theory, and deep ecology. Now in her very early nineties she has for decades helped transform despair and apathy into constructive change. As teacher, writer of eight books and antinuclear activist she has created frameworks for personal and social change. Joanna Macy is probably best know as the founder and root teacher of the Work That Reconnects.
