Feb. 10, 2022, 5:16 p.m.

In our first half hour, we hear from Allison Pejovic a lawyer from the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms who is representing leading organizers of the Freedom Convoy. In our second half hour we will hear excerpts from two press conferences in recent days addressing Canadians about the issues at hand and not the claimed false rhetoric put out by mainstream media.

Fleri and Leo: OrderFlow Labs
Feb. 10, 2022, 7:30 a.m.
This week in the shop we are joined by two very special guests, Leo and Fleri from OrderFlow Labs. Listen along as we chat about Fleri and Leo's trading styles, how they got started developing Sierra Chart studies and how to use the tools they developed. We also learn about some of the obstacles they overcame in their journey to becoming profitable traders. Get your notepads ready, there's a ton of insights to be gained in this episode!
About Fleri
Fleri began trading on the early crypto exchanges and with mid cap stocks before shifting his focus to futures and intraday trading. His work on ES, NQ, RTY, CL and UB is rooted in Market Auction Theory and tracking market participants through pattern recognition and confluence of Price Action and Order Flow. Fleri approaches his trading day by coming to the open with a plan of execution-able areas for the auction to potential seek value while utilizing Order Flow and Price Action to capitalize on intraday rotations. His favorite OrderFlow Labs study is Session Delta Pivots... The SDP levels offer an opportunity to lean into pullbacks and anticipate initiation from previous aggressive auctions while providing ranges for larger rotations.
About Leo
Leo started his trading journey with options mainly through options data/flow tools. After getting tired of trying to find the next mover and carrying overnight risk, he found the futures market and switched his focus to mostly trading the ES and NQ. HIs favorite OF Labs study is the buy and sell zones because they help automate the process of finding areas where the pullback in the market gives you the best risk/reward to take the continuation trade.

Welcome to "The Radio Art Hour," a show where art is not just on the radio, but is the radio. "The Radio Art Hour" draws from the Wave Farm Broadcast Radio Art Archive, an online resource that aims to identify, coalesce, and celebrate historical and contemporary international radio artworks made by artists around the world, created specifically for terrestrial AM/FM broadcast, whether it be via commercial, public, community, or independent transmission. "The Radio Art Hour" features introductions from Philip Grant and Tom Roe, and from Wave Farm Radio Art Fellows Karen Werner, Andy Stuhl, and Jess Speer. The Conet Project's recordings of numbers radio stations serve as interstitial sounds. Go to wavefarm.org for more information about "The Radio Art Hour" and Wave Farm's Radio Art Archive.
Honking Owner-Operators in Ottawa Serving a Right-Wing Agenda
Feb. 9, 2022, 9:08 p.m.
Tony Leah, Political Action Committee Chair of Unifor Local 222, Oshawa looks at the so-called "Truckers Convoy" from a class perspective and concludes the bullies in the big rigs should be more properly described as owner-operators. They are not Teamsters or in any way part of organized labor. They do not demand higher pay or job security because they are contractors, contractors with right-wing affiliations and financial support. They have the backing of Donald Trump and Elon Musk. And they are a minority in the trucking industry which is 80% vaccinated.
There is a curious and worrying element about the demand for lifting mandates and ditching masks. On the same day Maxime Bernier, a prominent right-wing political leader, called for lifting all restrictions and mandates saying, of Covid/Omicron, that "we'll just have to live with it," a top medical officer in Toronto said the exact same thing. And reflects a common political plan of ruling-parties in the U.S. and Canada. Having failed to protect our people, they want to weaponize the failure and are beginning to insist that China (and also Cuba and Vietnam) must abandon their successful zero-Covid policy and expose their population to the disease.

Nelson, Alondra— "Health Care & The Black Panthers"
Feb. 9, 2022, 6:41 p.m.
Originally Broadcast: February 13, 2012
The exodus of approximately six million black people from the American South between 1915 and 1970 had a significant role in setting the stage of the civil rights movement of the early 1960s. Many of the children of those who left the south participated in desegregation efforts which included the Freedom Rides and lunch counter sit-ins. The Civil Rights Acts of 1964 and 1965 which attempted to resolve employment discrimination and define voting rights, only changed the law. Many young blacks however did not see changes in their everyday life.
The Black Panther Party for Self-Defense was born out of this disillusionment. Although infiltrated and feared by the F.B.I., the Black Panther Party pioneered social and community programs, including free medical clinics, free meals, and educational programs.
Our guest in this edition of Radio Curious is Columbia University Sociology and Gender Studies Professor Alondra Nelson, author of âBody and Soul: The Black Panther Party and the Fight Against Medical Discrimination.â
We visited by phone from her Office in New York City, on February 13, 2012 and began our conversation when I asked her to describe the Black Panther Party.
The book she recommends is âCrave Radiance: New and Selected Poems,â by Elizabeth Alexander.
Professor Nelsonâs website is http://www.alondranelson.com.
