TBR 201023 — CRISPR Critters*
Oct. 22, 2020, 3:10 p.m.
This weekâs show starts off by exposing the Devilâs bargain that everyone must strike in order to live in our society. We describe the difference between fiction and reality (i.e. fiction must be believable whilst reality does not suffer that restriction), and we then describe a CIA asset who is currently living in Pennsylvania that has Turkeyâs snit it a tizzy. We describe idiot child liberals who think that James Comey is a good guy just because he stood up to the Rump. We describe the reality of Reality, and we describe the Rumpâs habit of making major policy decisions with his eyes wide shut. We wax dialectical about the police â and for the feature piece this week we describe a new gene-editing technology called âCRISPRâ that makes genetic engineering tools available to the âcommon manâ.
Crazy stuff this week. Together we travel an enigmatic yet educational path.
Donald Drumpf Theatre Vol. 197 Goblin Alert
Oct. 22, 2020, 12:10 p.m.
An original radio theatre show each week, with most sounds culled from the previous week, about a fictional, theatrical presidency. Contradictions tell the story, with songs, skits, and clips from political news shows and late-night comedy routines. The definition of "radio theatre" is stretched here, with an updated Dickie Goodman and/or Richard Foreman-meets-mashup style sometimes, and a more straightforward take other weeks. Currently airing on 30 or 40 stations around the world, the network has ordered another five months of episodes. Anyone who would like to work on a production, or have their work air in this timeslot, should contact info@wgxc.org.

Pulled from 47 years of broken romances our mix includes tunes from Big Brother & the Holding Company, Pat Benatar, Sinead OâConnor, Amy Winehouse and even the king himself⦠Elvis Presley. Then comedian Taylor Tomlinson stops by to share her recent break up story, along with more comedic break-up thoughts from Chris Potter and Dylan Moran, all straight ahead as the Sonic Café presents break up songs, this time in another hour of intelligent, eclectic music comedy and pop culture from our little café on the Pacific coast with the Greg Kihn Band.
