Episode 2018.03. The Coming Emergency, Dissection for Preparation
Sept. 9, 2018, 3:23 a.m.
Hello everyone, Mr. Unreliable is back. After months of, well, letâs just say not being myself, I feel wonderful enough to begin publishing again. In todayâs episode I will touch on a familiar theme, that being the fabulous societal mess we are finding ourselves in. The collective psychosis afflicting this wonderful mental institution we all call America, is a constant idea I speak on before finally (and I do mean finally) getting to the subject that brought about this title. Be prepared for a winding, wielding episode that moves the mind and touches the heart. P.S Progressives I still love you and this episode proves it, a little.

Kavanaugh's Anti-Labor Track Record
Sept. 7, 2018, 9:24 a.m.
Kavanaugh's Anti-Labor Track Record
with
Sharon Block, Executive Director of Harvard's Labor and Worklife Program
The AFL-CIOs President, Richard Trumka described Trumps nominee Brett Kavanaugh for his second pick to the Supreme Ct. as having a dangerous track record protecting the privileges of the wealthy and powerful at the expense of working people. The Service Employees International Union, one of the countrys largest just tweeted that confirming Kavanaugh would tip the scales of justice against working people. To ready us for the battle at hand Sharon Block, Executive Director of Harvard's Labor and Worklife Program makes the case that Kavanaughs record reflects a sustained and, at times, aggressive hostility to the role of the law in protecting the vulnerable and less powerful.

Ecclesiastes 1:9:
There is nothing new under the Sun.
Censorship todayâ¦Censorship then.
Our Framers were all too eager to lie to their citizenry.
The Founders, inspired by avarice, stooped to the
level of wielding Franklinâs creation, the Postal Services, to
intercept and conceal research and communications skeptical of the new plan. News outlets conveying and/or endorsing the views of the Anti Federalists were discredited and defunded through dirty tactics and slander.

Labour Day Marchers Reject the Ex
Sept. 6, 2018, 6:33 p.m.
In an historic first, Toronto's annual Labour Day march did not enter the Canadian National Exhibition. Management of the "Ex" has locked out 400 members of IATSE, and brought in replacement workers. Hence, organized workers nixed the Ex. And perhaps this will lead to rethinking Labour Day. Is it time to join the world and march on May Day?
Guest Mike Hersh also brings labour news from Mexico. The popular miner's leader, "Napoleon", after years in exile, has returned and with the support of the new President, Obrador, been chosen to serve in Mexico's senate.

Sept. 6, 2018, 6:26 p.m.
This weekâs show starts off by revealing that Facebook has taken it upon itself to start censoring our political speech â and youâll be very surprised to learn some of the writers who are being âbannedâ for promoting âhate speechâ. Next we contemplate how nothing is pure black or pure white, we point out that while the style may be new, the play is the same, and then we reveal how listeners can start their very own drug cartel! We then reveal the âparty of the warmongersâ (it is actually both of them) before we attempt to envision some kind of end game around here.

Sonic Cafe #103/The Relationship Show
Sept. 6, 2018, 8 a.m.
Hey welcome to episode one hundred and three of the Sonic Café. Iâm your host Scott Clark inviting you to settle in for another hour of intelligent, eclectic music comedy and pop culture. This time the Sonic Café explores the sometimes-complicated relationships between men and women. Weâll tackle this topic from a number of angles. Listen for two tunes from Rodney Carrington as the Sonic Café presents both the man and the woman song. Then comedian Dana Gould extols the benefits of how apologizing early and often is great for any marriage. If that doesnât work. listen for Will Farrellâs impersonation of Dr. Phil marriage counselor in a session pulled from Saturday Night Live. And still later comedian Jerry Seinfeld explores how the tone of a manâs voice mysteriously seems to change after marriage. All that valuable relationship wisdom is wedged between a music mix including UFO, an acoustic release from Jack White, Les Dudek, Alanis Morissette, Nazareth and much more. All coming right at you as the Sonic Café proves once and for all that Men are from Mars, and Women are from Venus. This time from that little café on the coast⦠weâre the Sonic Café.
Out of the Woods - Show #440 - 9-15-18
Sept. 6, 2018, 6:11 a.m.
This version of the program is divided into 6 segments so broadcasters who desire to use this content can insert your station info, etc. The segments vary in length.
Out of the Woods is an earthy, wires and wood, mostly acoustic program featuring some of the best new and established artists from the worlds of folk, bluegrass, singer-songwriters, alt.country, Americana, classic country, old-time, Celtic, and everything that falls in between. The show is an unpredictable mix flowing like a river between moods, often with an edge or in a melancholy minor key. On occasion, Out of the Woods features interviews and live in-studio performances with national and international touring musicians. Past guests have included artists such as Bela Fleck, Si Kahn, Brown Bird, Dana Robinson, Steve Gillette & Cindy Mangsen, Kate MacLeod, Bill Bourne, Karl Shiflett, Rachel Bissex, Darryl Purpose, Bow Thayer, Cosy Sheridan and many others. Out of the Woods grew out of Jon 'Chip' Colcord's former acoustic programs, The Song Swap and Music For The Mountain, separate folk and bluegrass programs which aired in New Hampshire during the 1990s. As a child, Colcord grew up a ravenous music fan with an ear for both rock and folk. All of these influences converge on Out of the Woods to bring you a mix which is as much on the edge as it is down home. Folk music with a rock 'n' roll soul
