May 27, 2016, 12:27 p.m.
This week's Global Research News Hour reviews the situation in Ukraine with two commentators.
Investigative Journalist Robert Parry talks about the media obfuscation of the facts of the coup, US-NATO encroachment, and particularly the investigation into the shooting down of Malaysian Airlines Flight 17. Writer and activist Roger Annis addresses evidence of Ukrainian violation of the Minsk process, the accusations of Russian violations of human rights in Crimea and the Donbass, and the dynamics of a unique prisoner exchange and how it is playing out in the broader context of the conflict.

Out of the Woods - Show #321 - 6-4-16
May 27, 2016, 6:38 a.m.
This version of the program is divided into 6 segments so broadcasters who desire to use this content can insert your station info, etc. The segments vary in length.
Out of the Woods is an earthy, wires and wood, mostly acoustic program featuring some of the best new and established artists from the worlds of folk, bluegrass, singer-songwriters, alt.country, Americana, classic country, old-time, Celtic, and everything that falls in between. The show is an unpredictable mix flowing like a river between moods, often with an edge or in a melancholy minor key. On occasion, Out of the Woods features interviews and live in-studio performances with national and international touring musicians. Past guests have included artists such as Bela Fleck, Si Kahn, Brown Bird, Dana Robinson, Steve Gillette & Cindy Mangsen, Kate MacLeod, Bill Bourne, Karl Shiflett, Rachel Bissex, Darryl Purpose, Bow Thayer, Cosy Sheridan and many others. Out of the Woods grew out of Jon 'Chip' Colcord's former acoustic programs, The Song Swap and Music For The Mountain, separate folk and bluegrass programs which aired in New Hampshire during the 1990s. As a child, Colcord grew up a ravenous music fan with an ear for both rock and folk. All of these influences converge on Out of the Woods to bring you a mix which is as much on the edge as it is down home. Folk music with a rock 'n' roll soul

African Angst as the 'New' Black Feminism: When Revisionist Afrocentrism is Masked as Black Politic
May 26, 2016, 4:09 p.m.
(Warning: Rough Language) As Western feminist attention is hopelessly drawn-in by the unnecessarily heady, intellectual brain-drain and capitalist-driven neo-Feminism romance between Beyoncé and her adoring fans, fellow Black female entertainer Azealia Banks has decided to wail herself into a ban on Twitter and an ejection from the roster of a UK music festival for abject anti-Asian bigotry. She is defending he actions as expressions of Black Pride and Black Power against a racist social system. But TheAngryindian questions Ms. Banks on this since using âCurry Scented Bitchâ as a means of politically 'correcting' or 'checking' another Person-of-Colour has more to do with attacking them ethnically than with or criticism of their particular politics. Is this the 'New' Black American feminism, or is this just another case of an out-of-control Black entertainer using Black politics as a cover for their own forms of Black fascism? EXTRAS: Dave Lippmann: 'Teenage Immigrant Welfare Mothers on Drugs,' and extended selections of a lecture by Black Panther Party for Self Defence (BBP) and Black Liberation Army (BLA) veteran Dhoruba bin-Wahad discussing the political exile of Sis. Assata Shakur in socialist Cuba and the deep colonialist relationships between wealthy Blacks Americans like Beyoncé and Jay Z and Barack Obama and the 'Talented Tenth'.
Ali Abunimah and Max Blumenthal on the goals, advances, victories, and challenges of the BDS movement
May 26, 2016, 4:06 p.m.
Today we take another look at the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions, BDS movement that continues to come under attack by the powers that be in both Israel and the United States, which is a good sign in the sense that it proves that the movement is having an effect of the economy of Israel. Why else try to literally outlaw it, which is the current strategy?
We begin with journalist Ali Abunimah of the Electronic Intifada speaking in Malaysia about the goals, advances, victories, and challenges of the BDS movement.
Then we move right to another journalist, Max Blumenthal, being interviewed about the BDS movement on the Real News Network out of Baltimore.

Grant Smith on Big Israel; How Israel Lobby Moves America
May 25, 2016, 1:02 p.m.
Grant Smith elaborates on contents of his new book, Big Israel, How the Israel Lobby Moves America, which details the money-for-Israel tax exempt âachievementsâ of several hundred Jewish organizations whose major activity is raising and sending money to Israel; how the IRS and the Justice Dept. look the other way when Israel lobby activity is involved. Smith points out that these groups that purport to represent American Jews, do so for only a small influential minority; he explodes the myth that Christian evangelicals, eg Christians United for Israel, play major role in Israel Lobbying, notes they have been funded by major Jewish donors; as an example of their influence on media, he notes that a majority of Americans uniquely believe that Palestinians occupy Israeli land where populations of Canada, Mexico, and the UK know it's the other way around; discusses pressure from groups like CAMERA to keep the media in check and argues that challenging the Israel Lobby should take precedence in the US over opposing Israeli occupation which has been shown to be unsuccessful.
