Two individual fatelines tangle and snarl as they twist themselves into a single sputtering fuse that ignites an explosion of violence, murder, and mayhem! A brobdingnagian orgy at Neverland Ranch turns bad, and not in the usual childraping sense--because making the scene with Michael's guests Liz Taylor, Mike Tyson, and Kato Kaelin is psycho murderer O.J. Simpson! The mutilated bodies start stacking up--but then the narrative takes a shockingly dark turn, as Frank fucking Booth shows up--to team up with O.J., kidnap Michael, and take us all on a little joyride, tearing ass across state lines straight to BLUE VELVETville!!!
But get this--the final explosive eruption of retribution is still to come...next week, when we get to hear PART TWO!
With music by Yellowman, Negativland, a "Gay Simpsons" mix by some unknown internet fiend, the bodice-ripping OJ Simpson anthem "When Heroes Fall" by some deranged fan--and WESLEY WILLIS tells it like it is!!! (And I know the BLUE VELVET party sequence at Ben's will drive astute listeners crazy, because ten years ago, I couldn't nail a copy of Bill Doggett's "Honky Tonk Pt 1" to flesh out the background music over the parts I added to it...so I had no choice but to glean bits of music from the pauses between lines of dialogue. So yes, it really sounds choppy as hell. But it's still pretty good for a bimbo, huh?)

This week we visit the much loved French Ode to life AMELIE from (2001). Set in Paris, it tells the tale of Amelie â a child whoâs lived a very sheltered life, didnât go to school, and had no friends. When she was six, her mother suddenly dies, leaving her with her indifferent father.
(The present) Now she is 23, and having left home, she is working in a cafe in Paris. On the day Princess Diana is killed in a car crash, she magically discovers a box hidden in her flat, containing some treasured objects that a young boy hid away in the 1950â²s. She decides to find him, and give it back to him. She succeeds, making this man happy, and now sets out to make everybody she can happy, in subtle and amusing ways. (One example: her neighbour tells her a story about her late husband. Amelie reads some letters from this man, âinventsâ a new letter by piecing together some of the old ones, and sends it to the neighbour, with a note saying it was lost for 30 years.) But she doesnât do so well in making herself happy. Nino, a young man who Amelie fancies, collects discarded photos from photo booths, and sticks them in an album, which he loses. Amelie finds it, and devises complicated ways of returning it to him. Although she loves him, can Amelie bring herself to meet him? In the photo album, there is also a mysterious man who keeps reappearing: taking his picture in photo booths all over Paris, only to throw them away. Is he someone afraid of growing old, or a dead man who is afraid of being forgotten?.. Amelie received unusually enthusiastic advance reviews prior to its French premiere in the spring of 2001, and was well received at a special free screening at that yearâs Cannesâ¦We dig deep into this one, along with our Top 3 âRâ Rated Charmers. Dr. Carol Kwiatkowski is an expert on the subject of damages to health caused by endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs). She describes a great amount of harm to the health of Americans and other peoples of the world who are receiving much exposure to these dangerous substances.
Based upon what scientists know about EDCs it is clear that exposure minimization is warranted. Governmental public health entities in the United States and around the world need to start providing the public with information on how to avoid exposure to the EDCs. This information will empower decisions to change diet and behaviors so as to bring an end to much EDC exposure. Less EDC exposure will result in improved health. Exposure minimization education is prevention at its best.

On 7/15/14, scientists and technical personnel employed by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) participated in a Cancer Action NY teleconference for discussion of minimization of PCB exposure associated with the General Motors Powertrain Superfund Site in the
Town of Massena, New York. EPA employees on the call included: Larisa Romanowski, Anne Kelly, Joel Singerman, Douglas Fisher, Marian Olsen, PhD and Michael McGowan.
Discussion centered upon PCB evaporation from the Industrial Landfill referred to by Akwesasne residents as the "Toxic Mound". Anne Kelly stated that EPA planned to remove the most heavily contaminated materials from the Industrial Landfill and the East Disposal Area, consolidate the remaining materials and then place a permanent cap
over the area. Ms. Kelly explained that the new cap is designed to prevent all evaporation of PCBs.
Respiratory PCB exposure has significantly contributed to the causation of diabetes on the Akwesasne Reserve. This has been clearly elucidated by the research of David O. Carpenter, MD. Capping areas of PCB contamination so as to prevent all evaporation is a critical part of minimizing ongoing exposure to these harmful chemicals. Where any PCBs remain on the GM Superfund Site there must be effective capping. Air quality monitoring must be utilized to insure that capping stops PCBs from escaping containment.
