Can the World Tolerate an Iran with Nuclear Weapons Capability?
June 27, 2013, 4:39 p.m.
The background of the Iranian conflict with the U.S. is that after WWII, the U.S. replaced the British in dominating the Middle East. After the Shah of Iran was replaced in 1979, the Iranian government has at times refused to obey Washington, D.C. Since then the U.S. Government and Iran have been in a conflict.
Panelists debated how the world should respond to Iranâs nuclear program. Topics included the U.S. and Israeli positions in the Middle East, the consequences of launching a war against Iran, and Iranâs influence in the region. After opening statements the panelists cross-examined each other. The audience in the hall voted on the question before and after the debate.
Amos Yadlin and Charles Krauthammer argued in favor of the question, âIranâs Nuclear Ambitions: Be It Resolved the World Cannot Tolerate an Iran with Nuclear Weapons Capability.â Fareed Zakaria and Vali Nasr argued against.

St. Lawrence County Legislator Frederick Morrill Speaks in Opposition to Warning Public of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) Exposure Cancer Hazard
June 27, 2013, 2:27 p.m.
Frederick Morrill is a member of the St. Lawrence County Legislature. Over the course of the past several years, Mr. Morrill has regularly spoken in opposition to Cancer Action NY requests for action by the St. Lawrence County Public Health Department to provide the residents of St. Lawrence County with a warning of the persistent organic pollutants (POPs) exposure health hazard constituted by the presence of POPs in the animal fat containing foods of the mainstream food supply, including: meats, fish, dairy products and eggs. On May 13, 2013, Legislator Morrill made a presentation to a committee of the St. Lawrence County Legislature in which he expressed criticism of the advocacy work of Cancer Action NY. Much of this presentation consisted of Mr. Morrill's argument that POPs exposure was not a significant contributor to cancer causation. He sought to make this argument by providing the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classifications for POPs. Mr. Morrill failed to include in his information the following facts: (1) IARC classified PCBs as carcinogenic to humans in February 2013, and (2) IARC classified dioxin as carcinogenic to humans in 1997. The vast majority of scientific experts who are free to take positions that are displeasing to powerful corporate entities in the agriculture, foods and chemicals sectors of the economy are in agreement that POPs exposure is a significant contributor to cancer causation. The scientific literature strongly supports this conclusion. Minimizing POPs exposure is an important part of any cancer prevention strategy.
St. Lawrence County's economy is dominated by dairy farming and aluminum manufacturing. Some of the corporate milk producers of St. Lawrence County and the aluminum manufacturing corporation, ALCOA oppose telling the public what scientists know about animal fat contamination. They want to keep the people of St. Lawrence County in the dark about the cancer risk imposed by consumption of animal fats at current levels of food supply contamination. They want this because of their greed. Legislator Morrill is a greedy politician who allies himself with these bad corporate dairy farmers and ALCOA.
Legislator Morrill has attempted to deceive St. Lawrence County residents in order to justify his opposition to POPs exposure minimization education. The Truth is coming out concerning who cares about cancer in St. Lawrence County. The greedy corporate dairy farmers, ALCOA and their political allies, led by Frederick Morrill care nothing about the suffering and death caused by cancer in St. Lawrence County. Cancer Action NY cares about this cancer burden and is dedicated to bringing about the changes that will result in much reduced exposure to chemical carcinogens. The people of St. Lawrence County will know the Truth about chemical exposure and cancer risk because Cancer Action NY is persevering in providing this critical information. Bad dairy farmers, ALCOA and bad politicians can not stop us. We are the Revolution!

The Zionists' sordid history of antisemitism
June 26, 2013, 2:26 p.m.
Today's subjects: Israel's gentle treatment of 'Price Tag' attacks and vandalism by settlers; the former South African ambassador's refusal of the 'honor' of an 18-tree planting in his name by Israel; and major feature, Columbia University Professor Joseph Massad's lecture "The Last of the Semites."
In his recent lecture in Stuttgart, Germany, he notes the disparity of 40 Nazi Holocaust memorials in the U.S., but none for the U.S. holocausts against Native Americans and black slaves.
Massad describes how the Zionists collaborated with the Nazis to spare themselves from the Holocaust, but not their humbler semitic brethren, whom they regarded as non-white and inferior.

New Format Episode 6a - It's 1984 and Snowing in the USA, Tomorrow's Forecast Global Governance
June 26, 2013, 10:18 a.m.
Global Government â what? Really? Hmmm, sounds like another tin-foil hat theory to me â on that note, who came up with the idea of the tin-foil hat? Sorry I went off track â where was I â oh yes, Global Governance, what kind of tiny minded idea is that, there isnât any proof of that! Or is there? Admittedly, if you had asked me about a conspiracy to create a global government a year ago or even 6 months ago I would have laughed till my head fell off but after listening to some not so private lectures from the LSE (London School of Economics for all you too-cool-for-school students out there) I believe the threat of Global Governance isnât only real it is progressing forward at break neck speed. This episode barely covers this topic but I do my best to connect Snowdenâs revelations to the concept of Global Governance â which I see as having merit. The reality is a Global Government system needs to spy on everyone to ensure everyone behaves, but that goes without saying. Let me know what you think about my theory â oh especially the theory about Snow being a spook (FYI an addendum to this episode is in the works, in it I propose another interesting âwould ifâ idea about Snowden). If you have questions or comments write me at classwarbattlefield@live.com
