LIberation Theology-Part 3, the murder of Jean Donovan and the Maryknoll sisters

A year after Arch Bishop Oscar Romero was murdered in El Salvador by the US trained atcatly battalion for practicing Liberation Theology, US citizen Jean Donovan, along with two Maryknoll nuns—Maura Clarke and Ita Ford, and Dorothy Kazel an Ursuline sister, were abducted, raped and shot to death by National Guardsmen in El Salvador. They too had committed the sin of practicing Liberation theology and helping the poor of El Salvador. The next day peasants discovered their bodies alongside an isolated road buried in a shallow grave.



Lawsuit by private clinic argues Medicare unconstitutional

Preventing violence against mental health workers

Mental health care workers face the constant threat of patient violence. Last year, the number of injury claims among health care workers was 10% higher than in the entire law enforcement sector. Lori Strom is with the B.C. Government Employees' Union. She discusses the systemic issues that have created such an unsafe work environment.

A one-time career soldier, Massey discovered the truth about the nature of the US war and occupation in Iraq and could no longer stand silent in the face of the murder of innocent civilians and other war crimes. Once a marine recruiter, Massey left the marines and became a truthteller at the very same schools where he once recruited youth for the US war machine.
