Episode 2016.07 - Fascism, An Unlearned Interpretation of a Social Phenomenon? Looking Ahead to the United Confederacy of Corporate States
Dec. 31, 2016, 10:22 a.m.
I thought long and hard about the actual philosophical concept behind fascism and how it relates to life generally. This podcast is dedicated to the thoughts which poured from my mind. Not all are palatable, many need some serious refinement but all in all this episode will give you something magnificent to think on as we stair headlong into the dawn of the United Confederacy of Corporate States â doesnât necessarily roll off the tongue does it? Thereâs a reason for that, I didnât want the name to appear forgettable. The U.S at one time was a Confederacy â Southern diplomats during secession argued the south was keeping to the original idea of the founding fathers by calling their union a confederacy, it is from the articles of confederacy which we draw the idea of statesâ rights from. It is from this idea that NeoConservatives have ruled from since the 1960s, making the idea of a new United Confederacy already realized, now all we need is the Corporatization of the government â cue Donald Trump, to be fair Privatization has been Corporatizing Government for three decades now, but looking at this cabinet it might go on steroids again very soon. Whatâs that you say. . . .he hasnât promised to privatize anything â Iâll have to pass on that fact for now because I think you and I know, no one in his cabinet believes in the power of Government, they believe in Corporate power â which concerns me. Merry Christmas and may all your fascist dreams not come true. Peace.
The Regime that Isn't
Dec. 31, 2016, 10:15 a.m.
When they label the governments of Syria and Venezuela as dictatorships, or âregimesâ, Western media are strictly following without deviation the labels that have been applied by the US and its allies of western Europe.
Both President Maduro and President Assad lead democratic systems and enjoy popular support but the imperialist powers insist on lying about this reality because their goal is the removal (regime change) of governments which insist on protecting sovereignty and refuse to follow US dictat.

Rev. William Barber II Fighting for Justice and Against Poverty & Discrimination
Dec. 31, 2016, 8:01 a.m.
In the Prophetic Tradition of Dr. Martin Luther King, Rev. William Barber II Talks About the Fight for Justice & Against Militarism, Poverty & Discrimination
with
Rev. William Barber II, a preacher who described himself as the son of a preacher, pastor of Greenleaf Christian Church in Goldsboro, N.C., president of the North Carolina NAACP, a member of the organization's national board, chair of the NAACP's Legislative Political Action Committee and one of the primary organizers of Moral Mondays.
We have witnessed the power of moral fusion, or organizing across racial lines to build a coalition for progress in 21st-century America The months and years ahead will not be easy, but right here in North Carolina we have seen a Moral Movement that can overcome Trumps
extremism. Join the Moral Movement. Together, following the 2nd Reconstruction of the civil rights movement, we can look forward to a Third Reconstruction of racial justice and healing in America."
The Rev. William Barber, is one of the most important social justice leaders in the country today, who speaks in the moral tradition of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and Cornel West and who talk to us about The Moral Foundation of Worker Rights.
Rev. Barber has been prominent on the national stage calling for racial and economic justice: for immigration reform; against police brutality; and for $15 and a union. He has been at the forefront of mighty rallies,
marches and engaged in civil disobedience in his home state of North Carolina in the battle against homophobia, the suppression and weakening of the African-American vote, attacks on Medicaid and reproductive rights and recently against the Republicans efforts to legislate a coup that would strip the incoming Democratic Governor of political power.

Aleppo Has Been Liberated But the West Continues to Connive With the Terrorists
Dec. 30, 2016, 4:37 p.m.
Eva Bartlett has made several trips to Syria to view the reality on the ground. She found a Syrian population that supports its government and, for democrats and progressives, that should inspire similar sentiments in all humanity. But in touring the US she found many who still get all their information from media power centers passing on terrorist propaganda. Eva provides vital facts and powerful arguments for defending the Syrian government and people.
