Her interview subjects include those who would attain iconic stature, such as Che Guevara and Fidel Castro and other members of âthe Twelveâ (the revolutionary government) and those who played a less publicized, but no less pivotal revolutionary role, including Celia Sanchez and Vilma Espin. She also talks to ordinary Cubans who are trying to navigate a new path that is anything but certain.

The elements around Boris entertain hopes of better terms with Germany and France but are unlikely to get them. The US is interested because it uses Britain as a proxy for its aggressive policies in Europe. One early benefit of Brexit may be a slowing of the US led drive to provoke Russia.

This speech was presented on the evening of June 19, 2015 at the Broadway Disciples United Church in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in occupied Anishnaabe Territory in the homeland of the Metis nation. Dennis Edney was the lawyer for Omar Khadr. a Canadian who had been held in America's notorious Guantanamo Bay detention facility in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba for 10 years before being returned to Canada in 2012.
In this interview we will hear Dennis Edney tell Omar Khadr's story and put it in the wider context of the then Harper Government's draconian policies and failure to respect the rule of law.
