The USA is of the opinion that it has to be the one who cinches any deal on Palestine.

At the United Nations Security Council, many member states supported the Chinese call for a ceasefire. China was in the presidency of the United Nations Security Council for the month of May.

AOC introduced a resolution in the HR and Sanders introduced a similar one in the Senate to block the latest $735 million in US arms to Israel. There has been a sea change in support for Palestine and in the balance of power in Central Asia.

Phil argues that the reason for the sea change is the growth in power and influence of Iran, and the Front of Resistance it leads. Iran and the Russian Federation insist that there must be a democratic solution to the occupation of Palestine - a democratic state in all of historic Palestine, which includes the return of all Palestinian refugees.
