Jennifer McMillan, a former prisoner at Alouette Correctional Centre for Women, talks about the network of researchers who are trying to help women leaving jail. She is working with a project called Women Into Healing. They are surveying women as they come out of jail to find out how they're accessing housing and services once back in the community.
Alouette Correctional Centre for Women is a provincial jail located in Maple Ridge, British Columbia.
