Please note that the Radio4All website will be moving over to new server hardware on August 2nd starting at 10 AM Pacific/1PM Eastern. The work should last two to three hours. During that time, the server will be offline.
Welcome to the new Radio4all website! If you cannot log in, you may need to reset your password. Email here if you need additional support.
Your support is essential if the service is to continue, there are bandwidth bills to pay every month and failing disk drives to replace. Volunteers do the work, but disk drives and bandwidth are not free. We encourage you to contribute financially, even a dollar helps. Click here to donate.Welcome to the new Radio4all website! "The Christmas Truce": the numerous holiday episodes of brotherly fraternization of soldiers with their opposites 1914-1916 and beyond, ignoring orders of brass. The soldiers visited, shared pictures, sang together, played soccer matches, and exchanged gifts. This is a reflection of the insanity of war.
This compilation was presented by Truth and Justice Radioâs host, Bob Funke, on Christmas Eve 2017, but we believe itâs timeless. Bob is a Purple Heart-awarded veteran of the Vietnam War and a committed member of Veterans for Peace, Smedley D. Butler Brigade.
(Aside: Here are some words from decorated WW1 war hero Smedley Butlerâs 1935 book, War Is A Racket: âWar is a racket. It always has been. . . . It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.â You can read that book at wanttoknow.info/warisaracket, all lower case, or download it from archive.org/details/WarIsARacket.)
After a 1 minute intro, this presentation is 46 minutes in duration.
