Dr. Tiffany Crutcher who joins us from the Juneteenth freedom festival in Tulsa. Dr. Tiffany Crutcher is the founder of the Terence Crutcher Foundation named after Her twin brother, Terence Crutcher, who was unarmed and with his hands in the air when he was killed by Tulsa Oklahoma police. Dr. Crutcher is also the founder of the Demanding A Just Tulsa Coalition, as the great granddaughter of a survivor of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre where mobs of white rioters burned down her great grandmothers prosperous community known as Black Wall Street. Dr. Crutcher reminded me when she was asked to be our guest that emancipation was not easily won and further that we who believe in freedom cannot rest until it comes.
