This is a story about why speaking up matters and how people raising their voices together are speeding the switch to electric and hydrogen trucks. Hear activists tell their story and moving testimony regular people brought to the state Air Board that made a difference.

While the price of diesel is high today at the pump, it's been costing lives in port and warehouse communities for years. A broad coalition got California to double its speed of transition to zero emission trucks and 5 states have already followed their lead.

We hear the Air Board testimony of regular people who spoke up and made a difference.

Storytellers:
Andrea Vidaurre of the Peoples' Collective for Environmental Justice
Ray Pingle, Sierra Club volunteer
CC Music: Scott Holmes and Blue Dot Sessions
