Suneera Thobani is Assistant Professor at the Centre for Research in Women's Studies and Gender Relations at the University of British Columbia researching globalization, nation-building, citizenship, migration and race and gender relations. In this interview, Thobani expands on the realities of post 9/11 world for women and particularly marginalized woman of colour. She highlights the importance of supporting indigenous struggles and reclaiming histories of women's struggles in strengthening present movements for justice and liberation.
