This is a weekly segment of news from Palestine, and discussion of issues relevant to the Palestinians' struggle for freedom from Israel's brutal military occupation and colonization of their homeland.

After initial remarks, we spend the rest of our time on the air with our guest, the eminent Palestinian psychiatrist Dr. Eyad El-Sarraj, founder and Director of the Gaza Community Mental Health Programme (GCMHP) and Commissioner-General of the Palestinian Independent Commission for Citizens' Rights. He joins us by telephone from Ramallah, Palestine.
