In today’s show we focus on environmental justice, what it means and how it relates issues of migrant justice and indigenous sovereignty.

We discuss these issues today with our guest Marika Heinrichs. Marika is a graduate student at York University and an organizer with No One Is Illegal - Toronto. Among other issues, her work focuses on the need for de-colonization, and dismantling racism within the environmental movement.
Our show reports about the issues and struggles for justice, dignity and self-determination by migrants, refugees and indigenous peoples from the frontlines.

We air on the first and third Friday of every month on CKLN 88.1FM from 6:00-6:30pm
