On Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, Vermont state senate leaders announced that the senate would vote the following week on whether to authorize the Public Service Board to issue a certificate of public good for continued operation of Vermont Yankee nuclear power plant past its scheduled closing date in March, 2012.
