Today's show will contain our Second segment of coverage at the past Socialism Conference 2011 in Chicago, with speakers Omar Barghouti talking about Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions Movement a global movement for the Palestianian struggle against the apartheid state of Isarel and Ali Abuneemah, editor at Electronic Intifada, talks about what Palestinians are doing and how the international community is helping out while facing Isarel and the United States oppresive measures to stop them. We'll also hear from Eric Cobb, Executive Director of the Buildings Trade unioin South Central Wisconsin talk about what it's going to take to get unions to represent the workers and forming a new party that represents them. Also, Samatha Jordan, member of Wisconsin Resist will give her assestment of the Wisconsin labor movement and how the austerity measures against the working class need to be fought back. And at the home front, we have the recent WHOI/WEEK Day of Reckoning Rally where Garry Moore and many other community workers and leaders are fighting back against a dangerous contract being proposed on them that could outsource Peoria's local news, weather and public affairs and how you can help in getting the word out to stop this.
