Following last weeks announcement that the Campbell Newman lead LNP Queensland State government would end the 30 yr moratorium on uranium mining in Queensland Autonomous Action Radio investigated the history of uranium mining in this state.

Wave interviewed friends of the Earth Nuclear Campaigner Dr Jim Green who wrote an article on the subject Queensland Government Ought to Red Light Yellow Cake .

He started by asking Jim about the history of uranium mining in Queensland.
