On February 18, the KPFA Morning Show interviewed Norman Solomon and Reese Erlich about their new book, "Target Iraq: What the News Media Didn't Tell You." They discuss the media coverage in the U.S. versus the considerably more balanced and detailed coverage by European media organizations.
Norman Solomon is the founder of the Institute for Public Accuracy and author of many books, including "The Habits of Highly Deceptive Media." He organized two delegations to Iraq, the first with Rep. Nick Rahall and others, and the second with Sean Penn. Reese Erlich is a veteran foreign correspondent and the award-winning producer of "The Russia Project," a radio program hosted by Walter Cronkite. Erlich has been published widely in a variety of newspapers and magazines in addition to his radio work
