This show includes a powerful speech given by Diane Ravitch in Denver about the hoax of the education "reform" movement. Diane Ravitch is the author of the book "Reign of Error: The Hoax of the Privatization Movement and the Danger to America's Public Schools". She's a research professor of education at New York University. This speech provides a thorough explanation of what's being done to public education in the name of "reform" and provides supporting evidence as to why it's all a big hoax and really just an effort to put our public schools in private hands enabling big profits for corporations.
This is a special program on the corporate attempt to take over and
privatize our public schools with Charter Schools. The show will expose
how the "reform" movement under Obamas "Race to the Top" is being used
as a guise to bring about this privatization of our public schools. Youll learn how
theyre doing it, whos behind it and what you can do about it. This is the first of a series
of monthly interviews on the topic.
