The holiest site in Islam is under the control of Saudi Arabia, which is unable to prevent lethal incidents such as the recent disaster that killed hundreds.

This comes at a time when Saudi Arabia is involved in very dubious activities abroad, including invading Yemen and supporting ISIS.

And yet the Saudis just took over the leadership of the UN Human Rights Council.
