On The Commons is a weekly radio show dedicated to discussing the many issues surrounding mandatory homeowner associations, the fastest growing form of residential housing in the nation.

More common ownership housing is built nationwide. More unsuspecting housing consumers find themselves with, for all practical purposes, no options other than HOA housing. The underlying problems with communal living and the controlled lifestyle are manifesting themselves on a daily basis. The main stream media is taking a greater interest in the shenanigans and horrors that have become so much a part of daily life for so many. And some of the legislators have stopped shrugging their shoulders and started scratching their heads, wondering just how to tackle the many calls they are getting from irate citizens and frustrated constituents demanding justice and sanity in residential America. Now that the concerns and complaints are falling on slightly more fertile soil, what's next in this saga? Will much needed reforms be adopted? Or will things have to get worse before they start getting better?
